I stared at Jylls 8th grade work.I noticed that it was easier than any other grade work.
"How were you guys days"I asked.Everyone nodded while still doing their homework.I couldn't help but notice two fruit bowls for four kids.
Maybe they share. Maybe not.
Maybe some of the kids hated fruit or a certain fruit. Maybe not.
Whatever the case may be, there were only two bowls.
Nikko pov
"You guys go outside and play" I told the kids.
Cydne stood up,assuming she wanted to talk.
"I want to tell the kids".
"About what".
"About Chloe".
"Who the heck is Chloe".
"My neighbor Chloe".
"Oh how she doing".
"From the tone of Halles voice, not so good".
"What happened in the first place".
"She was rushed to the hospital after a fatal passing out"
"What do you mean by fatal"
"I mean nose bleed,dizziness, nausea,and a possible concussion".
"Damn".
I rested my forehead in my palms. Not of shame but of sorrow.
"What happened".
"She hit her head on the counter after slipping on oil.Then Halle found her and called 911.She was barely getting air so she was immediately rushed to the ER.
Savannah pov
I watched as dad and Cydne held a conversation. Whatever it was, it didn't sound good. Nor look good. Dad looked stressed. Like someone that they new closely had passed away or had been hospitalized.
"You guys, dad looks stressed"
"Why do you say that"
"He looks like he's about to tear up.
"Probably just sweaty"
"You know dad barely sweats DD"
"And your proud of that, why..."
"Im...anyway let's check on dad.
My siblings and I headed inside. Dad pulled Jaidyn and Jyllian into his lap. Forever picking them up. His face was sweat filled.Like he was about to be jailed .
Jaidyn pov
"Are you okay dad" I asked him. He wiped his sweaty face and kissed me and Jylls cheeks.
"Guy's something happened to Chloe"
"What is it dad"
"She passed out"
"Oh yeah,I already knew"
