It's been two years since the dragons attacked, two years since I made that bet with Yukino. We eventually became really good friends and I called off the deal, she really is an angel. I've visited Sabertooth plenty of times to hangout with her and Minerva.
But today's event; the first day of the Grand Magic Games. The day I get to see Rogue Cheney.... and the others. I won't lie, the shadow dragon slayer caught my eye. He's strong, handsome, and has an adorable exceed! The loudspeaker came on.
"COMING IN AT EIGHTH PLACE: QUATRO CERBERUS!"
I roll my eyes, it's always the same order. Next is...
"BLUE PEGASUS!"
I knew it, then Mermaid Heel...
"LAMIA SCALE!"
Wait, what? This is different. They called out all the guilds, Mermaid Heel surprisingly being in third place.
I smile and wave to the crowd, there's a lot of people with hearts in their eyes because Mermaid Heel is an all girls guild... f—king perverts.
The first game was hidden, I let Araña take this one and walk around the halls of the stadium. I'm thinking about random things... like Rogue, Rogue's exceed, Rogues ab— PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER. I mean, sure we hang out a lot and consider each other best friends, but I know he only sees me as just that.
I feel like I'm being watched, but whenever I look around I see nothing but the walls and shadows. I turned around to continue walking, but I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Sorry!" We both say at the same time.
I look up and see Lyon. "Oh, hey," he greeted me.
"Hello, I should really get going," I awkwardly laughed.
His eyes narrowed and he pinned me to the wall. "Why would you do that?" He whispered in my ear.
"What the hell? Lyon? What are you doing?" I nervously asked. He leaned closer, our lips were dangerously close. I didn't want to hurt the guy, so I didn't use magic. I couldn't get him off of me since I'm way shorter and lighter, the following events happened in a flash.
Rogue popped out from the shadows and threw Lyon off of me. He helped me up and got into a fighting stance, so did Lyon.
"Oh please, like she wants you Shadow Boy," Lyon smirked. Rogues eyes widened, I could tell he was getting angry. That's when a wave of magic suddenly shook the arena a bit.
"Holy crap? Dragon force? Rogue this is-" I was about to say, but Rogue cut me off.
"Stay the hell away from Kagura. She's mine," he growled. Rogue then proceeded to walk me back to the mermaid heel booth, his arm was around my waist and he kept looking back.

"Did you mean all that?" I asked, finally breaking the pregnant silence.
"Yeah. I've had a crush on you for a while, actually..." he chuckled, "but it's fine if you don't like me back. I don't want to ruin our friendship."
I sighed, "Actually, I've also liked you for quite some time..."
"W-wait, wh—"
"Oh look, we're here. Thanks for walking me back! Haha... see you around?" I awkwardly rambled as we neared the balcony. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before running to my team.
'Oh my goodness, this man will be the death of me' I thought.
I slightly glanced at the Sabertooth booth, Rogue was smiling and had a slight blush on his cheek.
