Nothing is the same anymore.

I was hoping that nothing will change.

The sky, the town, and not even him.

But he changed, and so did the others.

He promised me that he would still stay the same.

But just like me he broke his promise. And changed.

He's not the same anymore. And I'm not either.

"Hello, Ryo-kun." I said, looking at the ground.

"Hi." There was silence after that, but not before saying this,"Long time no see, Riri-chan."

"How are you?" He asked with a lopsided grin, but it's the one that he uses to cover his true self.

I nodded,"I'm good."

The awkward silence filled the room. That is until I decided to break it,"You've changed." I commented, looking everywhere except him.

He chuckled lightly,"Indeed I have. Now I could say the same for you too, Ririka."

"You promised me." I said, this time looking into his eye,"Yet you broke that promise after 7 years."

"And what about you? You've changed too, Ririka." He stared back into my eyes,"What about your promise? Or did you forget it?"

I clenched my fists,"I have not forgotten our promise, but you broke our promise!" I cried, and started to grind my teeth.

His eyes hardened and he started to walk towards me,"Riri-chan it's not just me that broke our promise. You did too." He said in a low voice as he took a lock of my hair.

He sniffed it,"Everything about you has changed. Your eyes, your face, and everything. You should've known that after such a long time, nothing would stay the same." He twirled the lock of my hair,"Everything would change."

My eyes widened in shock, indeed I have never thought of that. The naive self I was before, has been the worst mistake.

He lets go of my hair and starts to walk towards the door. "Ne, Chisato I loved you back then." That was what he said before leaving.

Loved.

He used to love me.

But...

What about now?

"Why?" I asked myself. My heart clenched really bad. It's hurts.

"Why? Am I feeling this?"

Something wet covered my cheeks. I gasped for air as I slid down and sat on the cold floor.

Crying.

I pulled my knees towards my chest and encircled my arms around them.

My head was spinning. Everything around me is spinning.

"Just...what did I do wrong?" I questioned myself, my heart clenched more as his words ranged into my head.

I loved you then, Riri-chan.

"Baka...you did nothing wrong." I felt something on my head, it was his handkerchief.

I looked up to see him.

Again.

"Everything changes after 7 years." I heard him sigh,"And this is just one of them."

My eyes started to tear up again,"Yuu! You came back!" I chocked out before sobs consumes me.

He only smirked.
