Chapter 1

"Oi! Ririka, where are you going?" Yuu asked as he watched her get up and dust her skirt.

"It's 4:45pm and school's over." Ririka states as she rubbed away her dried tears,"I'm hungry." She says, her back facing Yuu.

He rolled his eyes as he got up,"So where are do you want to go?" He asked behind her.

"Kotsumaki. I want meat." Ririka said as she walked out the door with Yuu a step behind her.

Yuu stuffed his hands into his pocket as soon as he walked outside the building. He was waiting for Ririka who was still changiing her shoes.

When she came out he walked towards her and hands her a ring.

"You lef tthis at my house last time," He says as she reached out to take it.

It was a normal silver band ring.

Nothing special about it.

But to the person who the ring's owner gave to hold a huge amout of emotion and centimintal value.

Ririka stared at it for a second before stuffing it in her pocket. She muttured a thanks before walking away, towards the direciton of Kotsumaki.

Yuu followed without uttering a single word.

I can't believe it.

How did a nice day end up like this?

And on my first day of school too.

But...honestly, I've never thought that we would have changed.

Like he said, I was just an naive girl.

I never think about anything clearly.

It has always just been a few words and a change.

And I guess this is the result of it.

Now being merely friends is never going to happen.

"Oi!"

Someone grabbed my arm.

I blinked.

And finally I remebered what I was doing.

There were people around me, and an hand around my arm.

"What were you thinking?!" I was met with a pair of blazing eyes,"You could've been ran over by a car!" Yuu yells.

Oh, the light is green and the walking sign was red.

I missed it.

I almost died.

And why?

Because I'm blind.

I am thrown into the darkness.

And it seems like I can never escape it.

And this is the beginning of my end.
