I've always envied you.

You have friends surrounding you, giving you support, love and follow you.

You're also kind and beautiful.

You got the whole package; perfection and I envied you so much.

You have everything I wanted and dreamed of to be and I don't have any of those qualities.

Will I be able to get them if I was as pretty as you? As kind and caring as you?

But I don't want to sell my soul for something that will only last temporary.

I'm only an exchange student here, in three months I'll be gone but while I'm still here, will I be able to make friends?

I sighed to myself.

You walked up towards me and smiled warmly at me.

You asked me to join you for lunch today but I rejected your offer.

You smiled and walked away.
