Luisa fell asleep rather quickly. I would've stayed with her for the night but I had some work to do. I went upstairs and opened my laptop. I had three unread messages, all from the same person. The last message said "meet me at the west side of your island at 10pm".
It was 9:42pm so I quietly took my shoes and my coat and carefully went to kiss Luisa on her forehead. I the left the house.
I finally arrived to the west side of my island. It was already 3:02am and I couldn't see anyone... but then.
A pair of soft hands grabbed my waist from behind. I jumped by surprise and quickly turned around to see a pair of beautiful green eyes facing me.
"Well hi Rose! I missed you." Her voice was so seductive and smooth.
"What do you want Grace?" I asked cautiously. Grace was one of my old associates whom I hadn't spoken to in years.
"Well I came to see you of course! Have you missed me b?"
I could feel my legs trembling as I stood in front of her. So close I could feel her breath.
"I haven't." I couldn't look into her eyes when I said that.
She smiled at me "are you sure?". Before I could answer I felt her soft lips on mine. I didn't pull back. I should've.
It felt like the kiss lasted forever. Then she pulled back.
"Looks like your girlfriend is enjoying the show..." she winked at me.
I turned around and saw her... Luisa.
"Lu, baby it's not what you think." I hurried to Luisa and wrapped my arms around her.
She pushed me back and started walking towards the house. I knew she was shocked... So was I.
I turned around to Grace but she was gone.
Soon I was back at the house. I couldn't see Luisa anywhere until I heard quiet sobbing coming from the bathroom. I leaned to the bathroom door as I sunk to the ground.
"Luisa... I'm sorry for messing everything up, please forgive me."
I could hear Luisa slowly unlocking the door so I got up. The door opened and she stepped out of the bathroom.
Without saying a word she escorted me to our bedroom.
"Do you love me Rose?" she asked. I could her the fear in her voice.
"Of course I do" I walked closer to get a kiss but she backed away.
"I believe you... but I think we need to take a break from us..." I didn't know what to say so I just stood there looking at her beautiful puppy eyes .
"I'll sleep on the couch" she said as she exited the room.
