Yujin's Story

Third Person's View

2 tall girls were walking hand in hand along the pathway of Han River.

The night was young and the moon was bright but the thick clouds coverd it.

It was a cold night. Many were afraid of the dangers of walking at night but it still wasn't that dark.

Yujin, asked her bestfriend Wonyoung if she would like to go for a walk.

Wonyoung said yes and they went out just a few minutes ago.

Wonyoung is Yujin's bestfriend but of course, Yujin see's Wonyoung more than that.

Yujin and Wonyoung had been bestfriends since they were in their diapers.

Yujin's family which is the Ahn family, is one of the richest families in Korea and is also in partnership with Wonyoung's family which is the Jang family.

Yujin's family is open minded people who supports the LGBTQ community.

But Wonyoung's family on the other hand are a bunch of homophobics.

Wonyoung isn't a homophobic since she herself is also a part of the LGBTQ communiy.

Yujin's family knows that Yujin is gay while Wonyoung is still in the closet.

But, despite being bestfriends, neither of them knew that both of them like girls.

The Jang and Ahn family have been in partnership ever since 2002. Which is also the year when Yujin and Wonyoung met.

(Author's Note: Yujin was born on 2001 while Wonyoung is born on 2002)

But, because of the issue of the Ahn family supporting the LGBTQ Community, the Jang family wants to cut their partnership.

While discussing the lifting of the partnership contract of the Ahn and Jang family, Yujin over heard this.

So Yujin is planning on telling Wonyoung her feelings today and make the most of it.

Not knowing a paparazzi is lurking nearby, they sat on a bench and talked.

Yujin's POV:

I've had the longest crush on Wonyoung ever since.

I've been loyal towards her. I've never dated anyone even if I had many suitors.

Im aware of her family so im prepared to have her be disgusted at me.

"Wonyoung, I've been meaning to tell this to you ever since we were kids. I was only afraid that you wouldn't want me as your friend anymore so I didn't tell you." I took a deep breath beafore saying it.

"Wonyoung, you are the most incredible person I have ever known. The best bestfriend anyone would have, but I think- Wait, no. I know that I love you. I love you Wonyoung, ever since we were little." I looked at her.

She looked surprised.

I would be too if my girl bestfriend would tell me she loves me.

She remained silent so I continued.

"Wonyoung, I love you. I know you might be disgusted by me. Your family might be disgusted by me. I hope that if you reject me, we could still be friends." I said looking into her brown orbs.

"I over heard that the partnership between our parents are going to be over now. It's about my family supporting the LGBTQ community. I know that being friends after the lifting of the partnership will be hard since our families will be competitors. So im taking this chance." I added and looked down.

It had been a few minutes now and there was still silence.

I was still looking down.

I lifted my head and my eyes connected with her immidiately.

We stared at each other for a long time and it was all silence until Wonyoung broke it.

"I-I, love you too unnie. I have been in love with you too ever since we were little." She said with tears threatening to spill out her eyes any second now.

Then for a brief moment, I looked at her lips and brought it back connecting with her eyes.

"I love you Yujin unnie."

"I love you too Wonyoungie."

Then I crashed my lips onto her.

My lips unknowingly began moving in sync with her.

It was soft and loving.

Her lips tasted like vanilla. It was sweet. I love her. I think I would die just by thinking that she would leave me anytime soon.

We pulled apart panting and I brought my hand up at the back of her neck and pressed our foreheads together.

Just then a flash was seen and then sirens were heard.

Police were shouting in the distance telling someone to stop.

I pulled Wonyoung out of the place because I had a bad feeling about it.

It has been minutes since we ran from the scene and we laughed.

We look like fools right now laughing.

But just then, I felt someome grab me.

"Stop squirming dyke, or I'll shoot you and your pesty grirlfriend over there." A mand behind me said while pointing the gun behind me and Wonyoung.

"P-please! Stop!" Wonyoung cried.

I can't stand on seeing her cry. It hurts me more than it hurts her.

"Wonyoungie, don't cry. Look im gonna be fine ok?" I told her so she would stop crying.

She nodded her head and tried to stop her crying but failed as her tears flowed on her soft cheeks.

I want to wipe them off. Tell her everything's gonna be fine.

"I-It's gonna be fine Wonyoungie. O-ok?" I told her.

"SHUT UP! YOU BOTH ARE FUCKING PESTS IN THIS WORLD!" The man behind me said.

"US?! SAYS THE MAN WHO KILLS PEOPLE WHO ONLY WANTS TO LOVE!" I shouted at him.

"ONE MORE WORD AND I WILL BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND."

I've had enough.

Luckily, my dad taught me on how to defend myself at times like thess.

I then grabbed his hand with the gun and twisted it making the gun fall and then I grabbed his other hand and also twisted it making him groan in pain.

I kicked his bottom and grabbed Wonyoungie's hand and made a run for it.

We ran for about a few minutes until I heard screechings and horns coming towards us and the next thing I knew bumped into someone, the blinding light and pain shooting through my body and not a split second later, my conciousness slipped.
