Chapter 4: Worried?

Yujin's POV:

I didn't mean to shout at her!

I didn't even know that she had a heart disease!

I was just pissed that she pity me for being blind.

A part of me said that she cares but also a part of me said that she is only pitying you.

I didn't know what to belive.

So that's why I accidentally raised my voice at her.

After shouting at her, my surroundings got silent and it made me assume that everyone's attention was on us.

But then I heard feets scurrying to our place and the teacher asked someone to call the nurse.

I then looked at her and saw her sillouette and her shoulders were moving up and down.

Her friends were telling her to calm down.

I then stood uo at the same time she did and then her sillouette just leaned in on me.

Because of instincts, I grabbed her.

I then checked her pulse and it was getting weaker.

I assumed she has her face upwards so I just looked at her straightly not knowing what im staring at.

After checking her pulse getting weaker, I then carried her bridal style and towards the nurses office.

I counted my steps which I memorized after lunch.

I then knocked and a woman greeted me and then I told her what happened.

She took Chaewon unnie inside so im guessing I was right.

I just sat on a couch the nurse guided me and I waited.

I haven't been this worried after the whole accident thing.

Why was I worried now?

Maybe because she was about to die? No.

I've encountered many strangers that had had heart attacks and I've never felt sorry for them.

But thinking Chaewon unnie to just be hurt makes me mad.

Why am I acting this way?

Does being blind make you crazy?

I just waited and her and my friends went after us just 45 minutes after I brought her here.

They finished the class first before coming here.

But it has been 2 hours but she hasn't woken up yet.

Everyone was asleep since I can't hear anything except for their snores.

So I just laid my head back and decided to close my eyes even if I can't sleep.

A few minutes of staying in that position, I heard the door ooen and close.

Everyone was still asleep since no one was greetinb the person who came in.

I then heard a grunt.

I still didn't open my eyes because nothing would change.

I still wouldn't see anything.

I then heard a cold voice but not as cold as mine "Chaewon-ah. Im sorry, but you know it's your fault right? I don't care if you die. Please do. You ruined everything even my freedom. To think that if I didn't become so obvious about my feelings for Kriesha, you would've also taken my chance to marry someone I love."
