SUMMARY: Amelia says her first word and you were certainly not expecting it....

"-And this is the chocolate waterfall, can you say waterfall?" Willy asked, bouncing his little girl on his hip

You chuckled silently watching your husbands failed attempts to get your baby to say something.

Amelia giggled, throwing her hands into her fathers hair and babbling on about something.

Willy was an impatient man and it was obvious by the way he was carrying himself around that trying for nearly three months to get Amelia to say anything was taking a toll on him.

"Come on, just say something" Willy begs

"Give her time, my love" You whisper, resting your chin on his shoulder and kissing the nape of his neck

"Her first birthday was just three months ago and she still hasn't said anything" Willy groans "When will our daughter speak"

"Like I just said, give her time, she'll say something when she's ready" Willy sighed, nodding

You watched from across the chocolate river as Charlie sat on the edible grass, Oompa Loompas gathered around him and listening intently as he spoke.

"He's a great kid, isn't he?" Willy murmurs

"Yeah he is" You respond "Perhaps we should think of having a little boy?" You turn to face your husband

"Don't tempt me, I've just gotten used to changing this ones diaper" You laugh loudly, catching the attention of the group of Oompa Loompas and Charlie

"Charlie!" Both you and Willy froze, turning to look down at your daughter who was smiling at the young boy from across the river

"D-did she just?-"

"I think she did" You interrupt, looking at your baby who clapped her hands together and repeating Charlies name excitedly

"Charlie!" She giggles

"Awe come on not even mom or dad?" Willy pouted, stamping his polished shoe on the ground like a toddler who didn't get any candy
