(Part 4) "Make it work"

   The girls didnt get in from the party until 2:00am so, you know they are tired. Jada is the first to wake up so she came into Sierra's room who was just laying there but wasn't asleep.

(Jada POV)

GoodMorning! That party was crazy last fun, cause I was with my boo Malik!! Oh, and I got another Good morning Sweetheart text ahhh!!!!!- did I just say that out loud?! Damnmit! Anyways.. Like I said the party was cool despite all the idiotic malfunctions. I Gert up this morning and brush my teeth and do all of my hygiene things, soon as I'm done I walk to Sierra's room where she is just laying there.

"Wake yo ass up!!!" I said while jumping in her bed." I'm not sleep and stop girl, I just washed these.!" She said to me while wiping off the bed spread. " Oh so you calling me stank?" " Welp if the shoe fits, then wear it." She laughed. "Ugh, whatever! Anyways is Camryn up yet?" She asked. " I don't know let's go see." She got up to stretch. " dont think this is over Sisi." " Girl it was over before it even started but, still love you though." Said as we walked to Camryn's room. We saw her sleeping with her phone beside her in the bed. We both decide to jump on bed togerher. " What the hell is wrong with y'all!?" She spat while coming to. " Wake up pebbles!" Yelled Sierra. " First off I'm awake and second.. Get yo stank feet off my bed." " So did you have one of your late night convos with Derek last night huh!? Cause we had ours." I asked. " Mhmm. He is so straight about this whole relationship thing and its weird." She replied. "Yea so is Trey, and Malik." I said .

(With the guys) Malik POV

"Last night was cool I think we did a good job." I said to Trey. "Yea bruh, we was poppin' especially Derek." " Really nigga, chill out cause I fixed that problem last night." He said coming out of then bathroom from brushing his teeth. " I even sent her a 'goodmorning love' text so how do you feel.." He said "Well all I know is that I'm planning on keeping this one." Trey said pointing at his phone. "Im about to go." Derek said hopping off the couch and walking to his room to get his shirt and shoes. "Where you headed D?"  I asked. "Oh I forgot, I got a job at the Recreational center last week and today is my first day, going in at 3:30 but, I'm leaving early so I'll catch y'all later." Leaves. " ight D." Said Trey.

(Derek POV)

I get into my car and before I pull off I decide to text Camryn to see if she wants to get lunch before I head to work.
Derek : Hey, I'm on my way to work, you want to have lunch with me?
Camryn: Okay, where..?
Derek: meet me @ the subway in the mall.
Camryn: Alright. Lemme get dressed then I'all be on the way.
Derek: K.

Ten minutes latee , I pull yup to the mall going in to look in some stores until Can got here.

(Camryn POV)

Getting ready to go to the mall to have lunch with Derek. I see this as a opportunity to, you know...eat and shop. I put on my denim ripped kapri's with my apricot colored crew neck shirt along with my matching sandals jewelry was added and my hair was down wavy. The girls got dressed as well and they looked good as all ways and we headed out. Sierra and Jada rode together because Jada needed to go do something but, they would meet me at the mall so I left. I texted Derek sand told him I was on the way.

(Derek POV)

As I'm looking around in the footlocker and I get a text from Camryn saying she is here. I walk to the food court to meet her. "Wassup, you look good." I said while giving her a hug while we are standing at the line for our subs to be made. I have to say she was looking 'mighty' good today, looked good, smelled good and that color went great with her eyes. Love it when a girl can take care of herself. Things like that turn me on. " Thanks, umm what time do you have to go in?" " I don't go in until 3:30 so I figured we could have lunch before I go." I said as we finally get to the counter to pay she, reaches into her purse to pay but, I give the guy a $20 and told him to keep the change. As he was sliding us our subs I kept noticing he was staring at Cam. "Is there something in your eye?" I asked him "Oh,Nah, my bad." "Yea..you have a nice day." I said as I put my arm around her and we walked away to our table. She started to laugh. " What is so funny.!?" "You sir have an Attitude."  she said while giggling. "I dont know what you are talking about.." I replied to her while biting my sub. " Oh ok let's just stick to that then." Said as she bit her food and still shaking her head laughing. "So last night.. The conversation we had got a little heated I must admit." " Yea, you was pissing me off." " I know and I just wanted to apologize for what happened." " I dont know why you're apologizing.. Like I said before, you can you and I can continue to do me." She said " Cam, during that conversation what did I say that was going to happen.. I said that I'm going to be doing-" I was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Ayye D!" I turned around and its Kevin, an friend of me and the guys we used to kick it with I haven't seen him since he went to jail a year .. A couple years back. " wassup man, how you doing?" I asked him while giving him a dap. "Just chillin'-" "Well who is this right here!?! D this you bruh? He asked while looking at Camryn. "Yea man, this is my girl Camryn, Bae this is Kevin." Hey, nice to meet you." She shook his hand and he rubbed her hand. I seen that and had to end the conversation... Quickly." Yea, I'm getting ready to go to work I'll hit you later, iight." " okay bruh." He and the others walk away. "So, as I was saying I want to take this further by getting to know each other and taking this to the next level you see where the others are, they're practically dating now its just us but, I feel like I can't do that if you keep putting this defensive wall up on me.." All I can say is that we can work on this one day at a time but, what I will say is that if everything goes how its suppose to go then it will but, I am willing to...work." She said as I smiled at her making her smiling. We just sat there laughing, it was finally time for me to in. We said our goodbyes, I hugged her and gave her a peck on the cheek and gave me the stank face and walked to meet Jada and Sisi(Sierra) and they about to shop till they drop .. Literally. I walked outside and left. As I was driving to work, seeing Kevin had me thinking about how we used to hang out in our gang 'YKIA' "( Young Kings In Action)" and trust me we were in a lot  action..Clothes, jewelry, Cars, drugs, to Money, women, Ect... Anything a group of boys could ask for. Of course having things given to you felt amazing we had any thing or any girls we wanted. Our leader was Joe, who is Kimberly's older cousin and... To top it off I dated his sister Mia, falling in love with her. Joe who has done any and some of everything, to sending hits out on people, to selling drugs and to using them, me and the boys kind of drifted away from that lifestyle you know trying to start over. I gotta let the boys know I don't think they are going to be amused. As I'm thinking to myself I get a call from an unknown number..." Hello.." "Derek!..." The voice said. Wait I know that voice.."Mia........."
