(Part 5) "Blast from the past"

(Derek POV)

Its her...Mia. "Derek.?" Her voice was a little squeaky. I haven't heard her voice since the last day we saw each other when she told me she couldn't be with me. "Its me..Mia." I didn't know what to say, I was so shocked . I thought I would never hear from her again since we broke up because of the situations we were both in, me dealin' in the streets and her having her infidelities with other men we just drifted apart but the thing is..I think I have feelings for her....still. I'm just sitting here with her saying 'hello'. I finally spoke up, "Mia.." I spoke softly "Hi..I found your number in my old phone, just wanted to see how you were doing." She said. "I'm fine, just on my way to work." I said awkwardly. "I know its been a while since we have seen each other... Matter a fact a whole two years."..I didn't speak. " I dont like the way we left off, and I wanted to see if we could talk sometime?" She asked me. "Sure." I reassured her. " Well Ill l let you get back to work." "Yea..by-" she stopped me." Oh, and it was good to hear your voice again." "You too Mia." "Bye." She hung up. I thought. And just kept driving to work.

(Trey's POV)

Damn! I hate sitting in this house with nothing to do. I feel so useless. *thinks to self * I gotta call Sisi...Nahh she probably out shopping with Cam and Jada. Maybe I should call....."hey boo!!!" She shouted in mid-volume. " hey was sup, whatchu doin'?" I asked. " oh, shopping! With Cam and Jada. Heyyyy Trey!!!" They yelled." Why what's wrong?"she asked. " Oh, nothing, just callimg to see what you was up too." " Yea, but we will be over in a little bit though." "Alright bye." " bye" hung up. Told y'all they was shopping, didnt I tell you, I gotta fashionista on my hands here people. Ughhh I have nothing to do.... I guess Me and Malik could go hoop for a while. "Aye, Aye! My nig you wanna go hoop for a while?" I shouted. "Yea, and why are you yelling, nigga damn, I hear yo high yella ass." " Oh you mean LIKE THIS!!!!!!" I screamed. " bruh, let's go before I kill you." "Yea, lets go show these rookies how it is really done on the court." I grabbed my keys and we drove off in my Camaro.

At the court, we pull up to see the regulars are here so we have enough of us to play a full game. "Aye, y'all ready to play?" Malik asked while dapping everyone. I see a familiar face and obviously he noticed me too. "Manny...?" I said surprised. "Oh, damn its my boys Malik and Trey, wassup cuh!" He said and they gave a manly hug followed by him holding his hand out to initiate the gangs hand shake. Of course I remembered it. I went ahead and did it even though I shouldn't have. "I see you still got it down." "Where y'all been man y'all disappeared on us." " We've had to get our families straight." Mailk said lying. " That's straight." " Let's get on with this game though!" I said. We picked teams and started playing.

We played for about 3 hours then went home by that time its 8:30. I get a call from Sierra. "Wassup base?." " Were on our way." She spoke. " Alright, we just got home." " uhuh.. Home from where??" She started. " Bae chill we just came from basketball." I said laughing a little. " Oh ok then. Well be there in about 10 minutes." " Ok bye." Hung up. Mail gets out of the shower. "Its been 2 years since we have seen Manny and them." Malik said. "Yea man, I even remembered the handshake. That's crazy." I said getting up to go get in the shower. As soon as I go to the shower I heard the door bell, There goes my baby!! But, Malik got it and hopped in.

(Malik POV)

"Who is it??" I said using my little girl voice. "Boy open the door!" I heard Jada say. " What is the magic word?" "Umm let's see open the door, or we gon' whoop yo ass." Camryn said. I swung the door open laughing."Your so small but so evil Cam but, you still my ngga though!" I said while laughing "Now you want to open the door?" Jada said while giving me a hug kissing her on the cheek. " Obviously he didn't want that ass whoopin'" Sierra said laughing and falling on the couch, I gave her and Camryn a hug too. " So what y'all been up to all day?" I said sitting by Jada. "Mann, we been shopping all day! You should have known that." Jada said while laying her head on my shoulder. " true I should have known." Trey comes out of the bathroom with a T-shirt and gym shorts. " Wassup.?" He said as he came at Sierra giving her a kiss. We just sitting around talking and its now 9:15. Derek is just now walking in the door. I bet they parked in his parking spot, he hates that." What motherfu-...!oh hey.." " Some one is in your spot huh?" I asked him with a smirk on my face. " Hell yeah, some dumbass in a black 2015 Mustang. People gone learn to take me seriously when I start kicking ass around here." He spoke everyone looked at Camryn. She's just sitting there and crosses her arms looking at him. " So who's ass you gon' kick?" She raised an eye brow with her arm as crossed. " The Nig-.. Oh...that's your car???" "Uhh yea." She said " oh sorry babygirl." " Mhmm, whatever." He walked up to her laughing giving her a kiss on the forehead sitting next to her and grabbing her legs putting them on his lap. We all sat their just talking and laughing then it was 10:45. " Dang its late." Jada said "Yep we ready?" Asked Sierra. " Jada well we about to head out cause everyone has work in the morning #its Monday" Sierra joked. " That is not exciting at all." Cam laughed trying to get up. "Dont lay your head down now, and I'm about to leave." Can said to Derek. " Girl you can stay , you drove yourself." Sierra mentioned. " Girl I gotta work like everyone else too." She said rubbing Dereks head then getting up. We all hugged each other and Trey got the door and trust and believe they wasnt about to walk out that door til we got our kisses then they left. "Bruh, y'all want to do dinner next weekend?" I suggested " Oh, yea that's cool." said Derek. We all went to our rooms and texted our girls to make sure they got home safely cause Jada and Sisi were driving together and Cam drove by herself. 10 minutes they made it home.

I'm starting to think these girls could actually be the ones to turn us out. I can see us all being together for a long time. Me and Jada cause we have so much in common and we keep the peace. *laughs* SiSi and Trey are great cause they are crazy and they just....i don't know, what to say about them fools they just belong together that's all I know. Sierra is a good girl. And Derek and Cam are the fiesty couple. You know the couple where both people are stubborn and have strong personalities they love the hardest but Cammie is my nigga!! Overall I think Cam can be the one to get Derek out of his comfort zone since Mia... I know yall know that story.
