END OF SUMMER, THE CHANGE...

Chapter 9

After elaborate wedding planning that flew by and a lot of stress, it was finally time for the bachelorette party!!! The night before the summer wedding. It was time for Sophia's hen party with the girls.

"I am a little worried about Kevin's stag do." Commented Sophia. "I mean, what if there are strippers there!" Sophia started to nervously twiddle her fingers. Just as her head started swimming hypothetical scenarios, Sophia received a text message from Kevin. "Missing you, just drinking with the guys. NO strippers x" Sophia let out a breath of relief.

"It's okay, he just texted me; there isn't any strippers."

"Phew, right let's go to the spa. I need a massage; my shoulders are really tense for some reason."

Sophia, Trisha and Ella walked into the spa resort for an indulge spa day. Inside the waiting area room, there were inspirational and calming spa posters 'enjoy the blissful state whilst being pampered' 'experience true tranquility and pleasure of relaxation.' There were pictures framed across the walls. One had a picture of a woman wearing a face-mask with two slices of cucumber touching her eyes whilst her facial expression was a smile, she was glowing. "Welcome to Pure Harmony, have you ordered your spa package online?"

"Yes, my name is Sophia Stone. I am here for the indulge spa day. Here's my printed receipt from your official website."

"Terrific, okay if you three could take a seat and the staff will be in shortly, enjoy your experience." The woman smiled at the three girls and went back behind the desk to speak to some other people.

Two minutes later, the girls were lying on three black massage beds. The three massage therapists started to knead their fists into Sophia's, Trisha's and Ella's backs, applying gentle pressure to their muscles to relieve pain and tension. This was a Swedish massage since the girls were new to this experience. The tranquility during the massage was perfection. For over an hour, the girls enjoyed their stress leaving their bodies as the massage therapists were kneading all their nerves, managing minor pain.

"How do you feel?" Asked Trisha to the others once their relaxation ended.

"I feel lighter, way more relaxed!" Exclaimed Sophia.

"That massage was so effective!" Commented Ella.

"That was the best time spent! Who's ready to have their hair done?"

"ME! I am so excited!!" Screamed Trisha.

Ella was getting her curly hair straightened and she wanted her hair to be half up half down whilst Sophia was getting her hair curled by the hairdresser with a boho waves (beachy) hairstyle. Sophia decided to go two shades darker since she felt like she needed a change for her hair. Trisha chosen her hairstyle as a side braid which looked even better since she had short hair with bangs.

Next, it was time for hen night at the pub! Ella placed a ginger, ray, rose, gold team bride sash over Sophia. With a glitzy metallic pink tiara to finish Sophia's outfit off. Sophia was wearing a sparkly black dress, revealing a little cleavage but not too much. She was wearing black high heels with a pearl necklace around her neck. As for Ella, she was wearing a floral dress with white heels and Trisha was wearing a red, satin dress.

The girls were sitting at a booth in the pub, chatting away.

"They are doing karaoke at half eleven you know?" Sophia giggled.

"WE HAVE TO SING; IT WOULD BE FUN!!!" Trisha tried to persuade the others.

"What would we even sing?" Asked Sophia.

"Girls want to have fun maybe?"

"I don't know Trisha."

"Come on Sophia, let's just do something crazy!!!!"

"What do you think Ella?" Sophia turned to face Ella and Trisha was pleading Ella in a praying gesture.

"Fine!" Huffed Ella.

"YES!" Screamed Trisha.

The drinks have arrived, and Sophia took a sip of her whine whilst Ella and Trisha were drinking coke with vodka.

"This taste so good!!!" Exclaimed Sophia.

"We're no longer virgins to alcohol!" Trisha said in a pouting tone.

Sophia and Ella laughed hysterically.

"RIGHT LADIES, HERE'S TO LOVE AND MARRIAGE!!!" Sophia, Trisha and Ella clinked their glasses together gleefully.

It was time for karaoke and the girls hit the stage. Trisha, Ella and Sophia were a little tipsy. Trisha had some trouble fumbling with the microphone whilst laughing at herself in the process. Once the music started, Sophia did a solo until Ella and Trisha chorused in. Trisha was a little off key, but she didn't care because she was too busy enjoying herself. Ella and Sophia's voices surprisingly blended in well together in harmony. Once they finished the song, they got a standing ovation from the content audience.

"That rocked!!!" Exclaimed Trisha. Y-y-you two were on fireee!!!!" Stuttered Trisha, Trisha started to stumble on the way back to the table.

"Oh my god, how much did you drink?!" Worried Sophia.

"Haaaa, I am on the verge of being drunk!!!"

Sophia giggled and Ella rolled her eyes. Trisha drunk the most out of all of them.

"I wonder what the guys are doing." Said Sophia....

"If you throw the ball in the red cup, you are safe but if you don't aim, you have to take a shot!!!" Steve was giving instructions to Kevin and Troy. Kevin, you go against Troy. If Troy misses, you don't drink, if he lands this mini ball in the cup, you have to down the shot."

"Game on!" Smirked Kevin, his smile was cocky.

After the first round, Kevin won, and Troy had to drink.

"Dude, how are you so good at this???" Steve asked.

"I have good aim I guess." Shrugged Kevin.

"Yeah, no shit!" Laughed Steve.

"My turn, you are going down Kev!!!!" Steve laughed evilly.

"We'll see about that." Joked Kevin.

"IN YOUR FACE!!!!!! DRINK IT!!!" Steve blatantly insisted Kevin in a pleased and victorious mood.

Kevin drunk out of the cup in defeat yet complimented Steve "nice shot man."

Once the rounds were over, the alcohol was running through Kevin's, Steve's and Troy's veins.

"Good game!" Laughed Steve.

"The cab is on its way now." Kevin informed the others.

"Oh good, I am knackered!!!" Complained Steve.

"Sophia is staying at Ella's' house tonight, I wish I could see her."

"No Kevin, that is bad luck!!! It'll be worth it when you see her walking down the aisle tomorrow." Troy remarked.

"Yeah, tomorrow I am going to have a wife!!!" Kevin beamed.

"I will see you tomorrow Mrs Stone, Mitchell." Kevin had his phone to his ear, smiling away whilst he was listening to Sophia on the other line."

"See you my husband to be." Replied Sophia.

"You can sleep on my air mattress if you like."

"You're a saint Ella. Tomorrow, at six am we need to go to my mums shop. Everything is ready there and the hair stylists and makeup artists will be there too since they're good friends with my mum."

"I can't believe it Sophia; you are going to have a husband!!! It's so mature and a huge milestone!!!"

"I KNOW!!!! IT IS UNBELIEVABLE, TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE SENSATIONAL!!!"
