The phone rang.
Nami shifted under the covers burrowing her head in to the pillow as far as it could go. Maybe if she ignored it they would go away.
What time is it? Two? Three?
A warm body pressed against her back and then a long tan arm reached over her to pluck the phone from it's cradle.
Nami then snuggled into the warmth as she listened to her lover mumble in a sleepy voice."Hello...Oh, yes this Luffy Portgus..."Then there was silence for a couple of minutes and then Nami found herself drifting back to sleep.
Um who calls at two in the moring anyway she thought to herself?
Nami was then jarred from her rest when Luffy shot up throwing the covers right off the bed.
Nami quickly opened her eyes and then she was about to twist around to knock Luffy on the head when she heard him screech right into the phone.
"What? No, way. When for how long!"
Nami sat up and then she also put a hand onto Luffy's arm.
Um what the heck happened?
"Yes! Was all Luffy could say befor he grabbed her and then he turned to her with wide eyes. "Yes we will be right there! Thank you!"
Oh my gosh, what? Nami squeaked as Luffy dropped the phone to grab her face and then he kissed her gleefully. When Luffy pulled back he had a maniac smile splashed right across his face.
That was the hosptial..."Luffy whispered." Dent woke up."
Nami looked right at Luffy taking a couple of seconds to process the information.
Dent? Awake?!! Her jaw dropped and then she gasped."Oh my gosh! The two jumped from the bed and then they both started to run around the room, stripping, out of there sleeping clothes, grabbing, shirts, and trying to find socks.
Nami then barked orders to Luffy as he tripped over himself while trying to pull on the pants he had wore the day before.
Go call your friend Natural!"Then Nami frantically searched through the clutter on her desk."
Then call your work! If they don't give you the day off, let me talk to them."I'll call Lucas gosh that is if I can only find the number to his dang hotel room that he is staying at! Great! Of all times to be out of state!
Luffy happily pulled up his pants and then he grabbed his cell phone right off of the nightstand.
Luffy then walk into the living room to slip on his flip flops and then he grabbed his straw hat and his car key's as well. Dent! Dent was awake!
He was awake and now everything could go back to normal! There wouldn't be a cloud of melancholy hanging over him his Pokemon and his friends anymore
The sadness that flashed in everyones eyes now and then would go away!
They could have dinner parties again and Luffy could eat until his sides burst!Good lord he missed Dent desperately, but he'd miss his cooking almost as much! Everything would be better now! Everyone would be happy!
And Lucas...Lucas would be so happy again...
Luffy flipped through his contract list and then he pressed the send button when he scrolled over Naturals number.
Luffy waited before a sleep Hubert answered Naturals cell phone."Hmmm...Hello? Luffy? He Yawned."Guess what Hubert!"
