For the fourth time, Freya pressed her hands against the door.

"Ave safa sa belise, de la mer..."

Green ripples flowed from her fingers and expanded over the room. Then, a blue barrier lighted up, firing the ripples back into Freya's hands. Her eyes widened, whisking her hands away too late--

The barrier pulsed and thrust her backward onto the floor.

The air was knocked out of her lungs. She swallowed large gulps of air and rolled on her side.

"Barrier - 4. Freya - 0," Crooned Kol.

"That's it, I'm calling Marcel," Rebekah pulled out her phone and began tapping away.

"Don't be delusional, Rebekah. He won't get here until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. We need to get out of this room now."

Rebekah gripped her phone harder, "I don't see you doing anything to help," She growled.

Kol turned in his seat on the floor, "I'm not stupid enough to try and undo the spell. It's a personal incantation, which means only the person who casted it can reverse it."

"We've never let a simple spell stop us before and we're not going to start now,"

"Then try to ram into it again. I'm sure it won't throw you to the desk a second time."

Freya stood between her siblings, "Quiet, you two! There's always another way of breaking a spell. I just have to find the right incantation."

"Please do continue," Scoffed Kol, "Meanwhile we just let Hope run wild. If we're trapped here with nothing to do, how's it different from when Klaus daggered us?"

The Mikaelsons exploded into a yelling frenzy.

The students watched with apprehension, almost certain necks would begin snapping. They glanced over to Alaric, hoping he could be the adult they needed right now.

Years of living in the supernatural community taught him trying to defuse arguments as a human only ended in broken ribs. And he, too, was at a loss for a solution.

"Enough!"

All eyes turned to Lizzie flanking her sister's side.

"For being over a thousand years old you're acting like children," She fumed. She looked down at Josie and squeezed her cold hand in hers, "It's worthless to look for someone to blame. Hope is out there doing who knows what, but she'll come back, and we have to be ready for when she does."

She paused, just realizing everybody was listening to her. She met the Mikaelson's eyes and her heart stopped, her mind finally catching up to who she was talking to.

"I-I... " She stuttered, but Freya crossed her arms.

"She's right. We have to assume whatever Hope is doing right now has to do with Josie, which makes figuring out how to save her our best shot at reasoning with her."

Rebekah sighed and took a seat at the end of Lizzie's bed, while Kol leaned back against the wall.

"I shouldn't have shut her out," Said Alaric, more to himself than to the people in the room, "She asked me so many times to help find the Necromancer... and I knew how important it was to her," He pinched the bridge of his nose, battling a headache.

Freya placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, "We all thought we were doing the best for her. Maybe we did some mistakes, but we can still fix them."

Alaric raised his eyes and gave Freya a tight smile.

Then the bed shifted under him.

Lizzie gasped as Josie stretched her arms and back. She rubbed her eyes and slowly peeled one open. She froze, surprised by the amount of people crowded in her room.
