When Jax walked into Charlotte's room she was sound asleep. Her dark hair a sharp contrast from the white sheets it rested on. Her whispy ringlets danced across the pillow case and her bare shoulders with one lock laying across her face. She had kicked the comforter off of the bed completely leaving herself in cotton shorts and a tank top that rode up her flat stomach.

Jax ran his hand down his face brushing his fingers across his lips as he eyed that spot on her hipbone that had won him two of the sexiest breathy moans he had ever heard in his life. He had heard a lot of women moan but never like that. It was so real and raw. Her body seemed so in tune with his own. He couldn't stop his self from wanting to put his lips against that spot just to see how she reacted.

He stopped his thoughts in their tracks thinking of his mother's words. Piney will kill you for betraying his trust with her. And if Piney didn't, then Opie would. He sighed sitting down on the side of her bed quietly and brushing the lock of hair from her face.

Her closed eyes squinted up before slowly opening. "Jax?" Her voice thick with sleep. "What is it?" A small yawn slipping out as she closed her eyes again.

"Can we talk?"

She opened one eye peeking at him. "Noooo." She whined. "I'm sleeping."

"Too bad." He leaned back against her head board kicking his feet up and making hisself comfortable.

"What could possibly be so important?" She huffed opening her eyes again to glare at him.

"We need to talk about last night... and this morning.." He lit a cigarette to calm his nerves.

She sighed sitting up in search of her blanket before crawling across the bed and snatching it up and wrapping herself in it. "We really don't have to talk about it." She grabbed the cigarette from his lips putting between her own lips.

"You know we do."

Damnit. "Ugh fine. I was drunk last night and I'm sorry for walking in on you like that this morning, I should've knocked but I just needed my bag and I didn't want Gemma's foot up my ass. So in the future, I will knock."

He cocked his head at her.

"So now we've talked. Feel better?" She asked.

"Nope."

"Jax please don't make this weird. Okay? Jesus. I know what happened last night didn't mean anything." Even though I wish it did. "I had too much to drink and I was just caught up in the moment I guess."

Her words stung a little but he could see right through them. "I'm sorry about this morning. I didn't mean to upset you."

"Don't be sorry. I wasn't upset!" Lie. "Your mother was on a schedule and threatening bodily harm."

"Still, it was a dick move." He said.

"Yeah well no one ever accused you of being a nice guy." She laughed. "Now can you please stop making this weird and get out so I can get dressed."

"I could stay." He flashed her a cocky smile.

"Now Jax!"

"Yeah yeah, I'm going." He took one last look at her as she turned her back to rummage through her dresser with his cigarette still between her sweet tasting lips. Shit I'm in trouble. Maybe I'm the one playing with fire.

Charlotte was helping Gemma with the salad when Luann walked in the door.

"Charlie! That ass gets tighter everytime I see it baby girl." She said giving it a sharp pinch.
