"Kneel before us and beg us if you want your book back!" A boy said while holding a book in his hand while his friends were cheering him up.
"Please. Let me give my book back." The girl started begging while kneeling in front of the group of boys.
"Not yet. It's no fun!" The boy looked at the book and raised his hand to throw it away.
"No. Don't throw it away." The girl sobbed while her eyes became watery.
"Enough!" A calm yet strong male voice thundered.
Before the boy could look back to discover who was the dared to stand against him, he took the book from the boy's hand from behind. With steady steps, he moved in his own majestic style and stopped before the poor helpless girl.
"Here is your book! Go back to your class." The boy said with a gentle voice and gave her a warm smile.
He stood there until the helpless girl disappeared from her sight. The cool pleasant wind was hitting his face.
"So! You dared to stand against me!" The boy snarled.
The boy turned back and looked into the boy's eyes. His round eyes with dark chocolate color eyeballs were so beautiful that anyone will lose themselves looking into his eyes. But right now the way he was looking at the boy was cold enough to send shivers down his spine.
"You broke the rule of our college. Have you forgotten?" The boy said as he tilted his head and put his hand in her bag.
"Huh?" The boys chuckled without humor and continued."Hey! Are you thinking that you are an angel? Do you have any proves against me that anyone will believe you, hm?"
The boy let out a deep breath and looked at his phone and typed something.
"I wonder why I am wasting my valuable time by talking to a useless." He said casually which successfully raged the later.
"You stupid girl! Apologize!" Another boy stepped forward, it cast no effect on the girl's mind.
The few moments of complete silence passed, the boys waited for his apology. When they realize that he was unwilling to apologize to them, they attacked. One the boy tried to pull his hair.
Before he could grab his hair, he held his wrist and twisted it which was really unexpected for them.
"Ahhhh!" He screamed in pain.
Another boy came forward and raised his hand to beat him. Before his hand could touch the boy, he kicked him on his knees.
Suddenly he slightly moved his head rightwards and a smirk appeared on his pink pulpy lips.
Another boy came forward to hit him. He grabbed his wrist tightly and was about to punch, he started to wail loudly.
"Ah. That's hurts! Help!" He wailed as if he was badly hurt by the boys.
The boy who was holding his wrist blinked at him multiple times as he couldn't get it. But before he could understand and take a step, a male voice thundered which made all the boys flinch and fear conquered them.
"Take off your hands! How dare you to bully others! Huh!?" A man around 40years snarled.
He was wearing spectacles and was holding a bunch of books in his right hand.
"Lan Wangji! Are you fine?" He said as he pulled him from the boy's grip.
Elvira pouted and his straight eyebrows got knitted together and made a sad face.
"Sir, He punched me and snatched my book away and threw it away," Wanji said pointing his finger towards the book on the ground.
The book actually belonged to the previous girl whom the boys were bullying.
His words stirred the teacher's temper.
"Go back to your classroom." He said politely before turning towards the boys."And You. Follow me to the staff room." He said to the boys sending draggers through his eyes.
Lan Wangji just lowered his head. He stood there until the teacher and boys got disappeared from his sight.
A cool, pleasant breeze was hitting his soft skin. The sun was shining very gently. His pink pulpy lips moved upwards and formed a small sweet smile on his face. His small pointed nose, two big round eyes with dark chocolate eyeballs, his sword-like eyebrows, and sharp jawline made him look adorable. Few locks on his face added more beauty to his pretty face. He was wearing blue jeans and a simple red-colored shirt.
As soon as the teacher along with the boys disappeared from his sight, he took the book lying on the ground and headed towards the library.
He slowly entered the library. The library is the place he loved the most. His friends might hate books and library but to him, the library was one of his dreamlands of books where he could travel to various worlds with the help of his imagination.
He took his seat at the corner of the library. He put his bag on the mahogany table in front of her. He then stood up and went toward the bookshelf. He searched for books that he needed for his project. As soon he got the books he came back and put the books in front of her.
He started to go through the books flipping pages one after another. He didn't have an idea of how many hours he spent there searching for information in books for his projects.
Lan Wangji from a middle-class family. His mother died when he was pretty young. His father was a librarian of the same college. His father took very good care of him. But as years passed by, his father gathered a lot of experience in books of different types. Now, he was used to summoning various programs related to books.
Each and every time, Wangi used to lose himself in the world of books and it was his father who used to call him and bring him out of her dreamy book world.
But currently, his father went out of the town as he was called to help them in the construction of libraries, a search for books, and many more. Thus Wangi being all alone didn't notice the time.
He was distracted from the book when her phone began to ring. It was his dad. She talked to dad for a while.
He looked out the window, darkness already invaded the clear sky. And the moon was shining brightly.
He shooked his head and ended call while a small smile played on his face. He was astonished when she realized that it was 7:15 pm.
He closed the books and put them back into the bookshelf. Suddenly his attention was caught by a particular book that was placed on a corner of the upper shelf.
He was the only one to know that book was there. The book was actually hidden there by his father. Since it was his father's working area, he used to visit there since his childhood after he lost her mother.
Since his childhood, his father always warned him not to touch the book, not to open it, not read it...
He didn't have an idea of that book. But that book attracts him since his childhood. He didn't know the reason behind this attraction. He always wanted to touch it as his curiosity always ate him alive. But now, he found a perfect opportunity to read that book. At first, he thought that he will not read the book but later he decided to read it.
He was all alone in the library. The fans and lights of the library were on. Before he could touch his father's words came across his mind.
"Never touch this book! It's not good at all! Those who read this book had to face a horrible fate. Many of the readers had gone missing after reading this book. Promise me not to touch this book!" His father's words repeated in his mind.
