Wangji closed his eyes in fear and screamed.
"Ah..."
But he opened his eyes slowly as his body didn't touch the ground. He gasped while an unknown smile spread across his face as he found himself in Wuxian's arms.
"You caught me!" Wangji chirped.
Wuxian put him down without sparing even a glance at him.
"What are you doing here?" Wuxian said in a stern voice and he took the book from Wangji's arm.
"Ai... I was having glances in the book. It was really interesting." Wangji said without knowing the reason behind WuXian's inquiry.
Wuxian looked at the book once. 'Interesting? How? This book contains the basic knowledge about developing spiritual power, the art of the sword, etc. Is it means he didn't have ABC knowledge about these things?' Wuxian's mind was astonished.
"Interesting?" Wuxian enquired as he raised his eyebrows.
"Definitely. This book contains about developing spiritual power." Wangji replies.
"But it contains basic knowledge," Wuxian said before looking into Wangji's round eyes and continued in a stern voice which was cold enough to send a shiver through the latter."Who are you? And Where you are from?"
But Wangji was Lan Wangji. He never got afraid of things easily. He really hated it when someone talks to him with a cold voice showing how powerful and mighty he is. But right that moment, Wangji felt it was necessary, to tell the truth.
"I am Lan Wangji, completely from a different world. I don't have an idea of how I came here. The only thing I remember that last night I was reading an incomplete book called MDZS." Wangji said with full of confidence in his voice.
"You were reading MDZS book and you came here! What a joke?!" Wuxian chuckled without humor.
"I really hate the fact when people laugh at the truth," Wangji replied while annoyance was clear in his face.
Wuxian chuckled even more." What did you read in it?"
"About the two enemy kingdoms, Quishan and Yunmeng. How Yunmeng lost the sapphire and how peaceful the life of Yunmeng got destroyed." Wangji said." I have already told you that the book was incomplete."
"Really? You want me to believe you? Then try to stop me." Wuxian said.
Without giving a chance Wuxian attacked Wangji. Wangjj immediately stepped back dodging from the attack. Wuxian took out his dagger and attacked him. Wangji dodged again by bending his body downwards.
This time, even though wangji escaped but the dragger hit this hairpin which immediately broke into pieces. Resulting in his long hair which was tied into a ponytail, fall freely.
Wuxian with a smirk on his face moved this dragger swiftly. Before the dragger could touch his neck, Wangji held Wuxian's wrist tightly and turned it before pushed him away. Wuxian lost his balance and moved a few steps behind. Wangji took a position and get ready for the next attack. Wuxian again attacked. Like this 30 minutes passed by.
Finally, it was Wuxian who won the fight. His dragger rested at the epidermis of Wangji's neck.
"Wangji! Accept your defeat and spill the truth out! You will escape from death then." Wuxian said with a stern voice.
"I have already told you the truth. Now it's up to you whether you will believe me or not." Wangji replied fearlessly." Besides I am not afraid to die. It would be better, I will return to my world back."
