"So yer the loser?"

Atsumu swore that was the nth time he had to literally face palm. She was blunt and really not mindful of the words she used. The blonde setter scratched the back of his head, pulling off an awkward smile, "More or less" he replied.

The girl, he had just known earlier and was now eating and talking with him, eyed him and raised a brow. "I don't get it" she states, brushing her short cut orange hair backward, scanning his figure from his face down to his feet.

"Don't get what?" Atsumu questioned, slipping his cold hands into his pockets.

A flat tone escaped her lips as she hummed, one hand under her chin massaging it as if thinking hard.

Atsumu took that chance to get a good look at her. She had dark brown orbs, thin eyebrows, a beautiful pointed nose well minus the bandaid on her nose bridge, and plump pink lips that had one part bleeding. A total mess. She looked like a delinquent even more so now that Atsumu noticed she was wearing a dirtied orange sweater, leather shorts, and orange rubbers splashed with mud.

"Yer good looking and ya seem like a nice guy. Why would she leave ya?"

An amused smile carved on Atsumu's lips hearing the girl rain compliments on him, despite knowing him for mere minutes. "We met just now and ya say that I'm nice" he commented, sighing as he looked up the once clouded sky, now filled with bright stars.

The girl chuckled as she settled down next to him, sitting down the left swing. "If ya have the resolve to let her go be happy, then yer probably a good person"

Her reply actually brought tears in his eyes, although he knew better than to let a stranger see him cry. It took all of him to stop himself from breaking down.

"Hey. I don't know yer name, and I doubt I'll be able to remember yer face after this so ya know...." the pretty stranger trailed and stood in front of him.

She opened her arms, a blush tinting her already rosy cheeks, "I don't mind if ya need a shoulder to cry on."

Atsumu pursed his lips into a thin line, finding this girl kinder than what she looked like.

"I mean if ya don't want to then I'll excuse myse-" her rambling ceased when she felt warm arms wrapped around her waist. The girl placed her hands on him, one on his head ruffling his hair softly and the other caressing his back.

Under the bright moon and stars, Atsumu felt comfort in the touch of the girl he barely knew. Maybe the fact that they didn't know each other helped him take down his pride and just let it all go. He was too hurt to keep a happy facade.

"I'm sorry if I'm too sweaty" Atsumu heard her mumble under her breath. He shook his head face still buried in her clothes.

"Yer comfortable." was the last thing he said before the girl pulled away.

She was frantically looking everywhere, a panicked look etched on her bruised face. "Look, I'm sorry but I gotta go. Get home safe Mr. Nice Guy" she beamed and left without another word.

Atsumu couldn't help the smile creeping on his face watching the girl's figure disappear in the distance. However, it quickly faded into a frown as he realized something.

"Akkan, of all the things I could forget, how come it was to ask her name"
