Falling in love was rather easy for someone. Even for a person who was heartbroken just a month ago, Atsumu found himself falling deeper for Akari as the light haired girl often spent time with them. Her laughs resounding whenever he bickers with Osamu, her gestures whenever she was embarrassed from doing something random, her clumsiness she rarely showcases.

Before long, Atsumu had lost count of times the girl had him head over feet.

"Stop with that lovestruck face 'Tsumu, it's unsightly" his older twin spat out as he just finished reading a text from the girl.

The blonde setter whipped his head and glared, "Stop being so jealous and get yerself a damn girlfriend already bleh!" Atsumu childishly stuck his tongue out.

Osamu scoffed, "Yeah real mature"

"Says the one who keeps complaining about my love life" Atsumu snapped back.

The two reached Inarizaki in a few minutes and attended their morning practices. After that everyone sighed when Atsumu barged in the clubroom already in his uniform, "I'll go ahead!"he announced before he dashed out once again.

"Is he okay Osamu?"Shinsuke asked, getting weirded of the younger twin's giddy actions.

Osamu shook his head, "That idiot is pro'ly love sick Kita-san"

"Oh? He's over Michiru?" Aran joined in the conversation.

Suna rolled his eyes and approached the other members, "He better be, Michi's mine"

The gray haired spiker rolled his and eyes as he landed a smack on the back of his bestfriend's head, "Stop overreacting, 'Tsumu backed off already"

Shinsuke shook his head as the rest of his teammates goofed around, "Why did they grow up like this?"the team captain questioned himself.

-

Atsumu ran excitedly towards the school gate and immediately wore his uniform and fixed his ruffled hair. Before he could even reach the entrance, he saw a glimpse of his favorite color of orange locks.

"Akari! Good mornin'!" Atsumu gleefully greeted and ran even faster.

The orange haired girl who was looking out of it today, broke out of her trance and waved at the blonde boy coming her way. "Mornin'!" She beamed.

Soon enough, Atsumu was standing in front of her with a happy expression on his face. Clearly glad that he saw Akari after practice and would get the chance to walk her to their room.

"You're so sweaty Miya!"said the female and grabbed her handkerchief to wipe Atsumu's beads of sweat.

The boy got all the more flustered as she continued to wipe it, although she aggresively did it, Atsumu couldn't be happier. "Practice just ended a while ago Akari" he said.

"Yeah, that much I can tell" giggled the female and slipped the hanky inside her skirt pocket.

That's when something caught Atsumu's eyes.

A bruise and a band aid on her knuckles. He thought as his eyes diverted from her hands back to her face. A small cut was barely evident just above her left eyebrow and another bruise on her right jaw.

Atsumu felt all the more curious and angry. He grabbed Akari's hand and pulled her closer, staring intently into her eyes.

"Where did you get this? Ya didn't have any injuries yesterday Akari" Atsumu asked straight to the point and even noticing how the girl flinched from his question.

Akari nervously pulled her hand back and forced a laugh, "Don't think about it too much! I just fell down the stairs at home!"

"But you told me ya live in a bungalo?"

The girl broke in a cold sweat and Atsumu noticed how she started fiddling with ends of her skirt. Knowing Akari for almost two months, Atsumu was sure that the only time she did was whenever she's hiding something or reciting in front of the whole class.

"O-Oh is that so? Maybe I crashed into a pole or something! I don't really remember!" Akira said, scratching the back of her head awkwardly.

Before Atsumu had the chance to talk back, Akari held his hand and intertwined their fingers. Leaving him a blushing mess and mind straying off the topic.

"We should go Miya!"Akari beamed and pulled him along.

However, Atsumu still had some unanswered questions inside his head, that were slightly shrouded by the joy of holding the girl's rough hand again.

Hours passed after their arrived in their classroom and it was finally lunch break. Akari didn't want the blonde to ask her any more questions about her injuries and so she pulled him excitedly towards the music room.

"Oh! You're part of the music club, Akari?"

"Obviously ya dumb dumb"the orange haired girl teased as they entered the large spaced room.

Atsumu stared in awe at the diffrent instruments either sprawled on the floor or kept above the shelves. There's also a black grand piano that looked old yet still elegant. He watched as Akari strode towards it and pushed a few keys making a wonderful melody.

"I didn't you were into music" Atsumu commented, leaning a bit and looked out the window.

Akari did the same and stayed next to him. "I don't" she said and stared out to the bright scenery just outside their window.

"I love music" she finished, her smile deepening.

The girl tuck some of her growing hair behind her ear and felt the fresh warm breeze of the wind, "It gives me some sort of refuge from the world. From my reality."

She then turned to meet Atsumu's golden eyes, "The way the sounds play as if the notes itself are dancing around me makes me pumped up everytime. Listening to music feels like I can do anything!

Especially when I played the instruments! My fingers were shaking after that! You should've seen me play the other day Atsumu!" She beamed, grinning even wider.

Akari kept on talking about the experience she had whenever she listens, plays or even make music. She felt alive every single time.

And as she said all the things she loved and knew about music, Atsumu stared at her bewildered and amused.

He was clearly mesmerized.

Mesmerized by her smiles.

And especially by the way her eyes shone.

Your eyes sparkle so bright Akari, will it shine like that if I'm the one ya talk about? Ne Akari, show me more sides of ya. I am dying to know more.
