//Chapter 11// More Than a Princess

Y/N's P.O.V

"Thank you so much Queen Zianna for the lovely dinner." Aphmau said as she polished off her plate. "It was very delicious." "I second that." Travis said. My mother smiled. "It was no problem dears, I made Y/N's favourite dinner since she is back home." My mother said, her smiling growing bigger while looking at me. "We should make a toast for her." Katelyn said. "A toast to Y/N, for returning to Ru'uan and O'Khasis, for joining the Companions and for returning as princess!" Katelyn said while raising her glass. Everyone smiled and laughing while raising their glasses.

If I'm being completely honest, after Katelyn made that toast, and mentioned me returning to Ru'uan and O'Khasis to become the princess once again made me think. Everyone is this region, in the lands of Ru'uan, see me nothing than just an princess. I am Y/N Ro'Meave, daughter to Queen Zianna and King Garte, sister to Garroth, Zane and Vylad Ro'Meave and princess of O'Khasis, princess of Ru'uan and everyone sees me as that. Not a warrior like I want to be, I want to be than just a princess, which is why I ran away years ago in the first place. I couldn't take the responsibilities of being a princess that I ran away to try to start a new life,a new beginning as a warrior. I didn't know everyone thought I was kidnapped, I guess that's what happens when you leave in the middle of the night without leaving a trace on where you went, no note or anything.

I faked a smile while raising my glass as well.

After supper, I helped my mother clean up the plates, put anyway any left over and helped clean the dishes, then showed the others the guest bedrooms in the castle. I also never realized how many rooms were in this castle.

I sighed and walked towards my room. It's been so long since I've been in my room, since I last saw it. I opened the door leading to me room and took a deep breath. I opened the door more and looked inside and around. It looks exactly how it was when I left, but how? "Mother and Father made sure that your room stayed the same while you were missing." A voice said behind me, I looked behind and saw Vylad. "They wanted it to be how it was before you went missing for when you came back."

"They didn"t have to do that." I said while walking in and towards my bed before sitting down on it. Vylad came over and sat beside me. "But they wanted too, you know them." He said with a small smile but then he sighed. "Y/N, why did you run away?" He asked.

I knew this question was going to be brought up. I sighed. "I wanted to be something that wasn't related to royalty. Something that wasn't a princess."
