5. (Pov. Nini)

Ricky and Big Red asked me and Kourt if we wanted to be their videographers for a skateboarding tutorial they were creating for Mr. Bowen. Of course we said yes I mean, who wouldn't want to miss such an hilarious and extremely embarrassing experience, like the one about to take place in our school's parking lot.

We decided to get there early and set up before the boys got there. We had plenty of time because they were late, which is pretty normal for Ricky.

"Okay the tripod and camera are almost ready. Are we missing anything?" Asked Kourtney as she was adjusting the camera's settings.

I checked my watch, it read 1:10. "Kourt, the boys should be here by now. Do you think I should call them?"

"Nini they'll be here sooner or later. Hopefully not later because I have other things to do."

Kourtney was right, the boys arrived. Ten minutes late but whatever.

"Yo Nini! You ready?" Ricky called out as he was approaching the entrance.

I laughed when I saw him and big red carrying their skateboards. "Ricky it's hot out! Why are you wearing sweats?"

"I tried to tell him!" Said Big Red. "He wouldn't listen!"

"Okay guys." Said Kourtney when they came to where we were. "What exactly are you trying to make?"

Ricky set his skateboard down. "So remember when my dad told us how he had a serious accident while skateboarding when he was a kid, and ever since he has been scared to ride?"

"Yeah. I wouldn't want to be that bush." I said.

"That's what I'm saying." Said Big Red. Ricky looked at me as if what I said bothered him..

"But-but I'm sure that was a scary and stressful time for your dad." I added.

Ricky let out a small grin and his eyes met mine for a quick second. "Um anyway, as I was saying, I thought it would be cool to create a tutorial for him so that he could learn. He really does want to."

"I gotta say. That's very nice of you Ricky-um you both." I said. He's so sweet.

"Okay sentimental moment over." Said Kourtney. "Let's begin."

The boys explained what their plans for the video were. They wanted to use a nice and easy step by step format.

"I'm going to say three, two, one action and then you can start okay?" Instructed Ricky.

Kourtney got into position and focused on the boys. They gave a thumbs up. She counted down and then they began.

Ricky was the first one to speak. "I'm Ricky."

Next came Big Red. "And I'm Big Red."

Then they both joined in together. "Welcome to Skateboarding 101."

"Oh you guys came up with a name too! I'm impressed." I said.

"Cuuuut!" Said Kourtney. She shot her attention over to me. "Nini? What are you doing?" Oops.

I pushed some hair behind my hair as my face grew red. I gave an apologetic look towards Ricky.

"Nah it's all good. We'll take it from the top." He said, not caring about my interruption.

"Um actually I have one question." Said Big Red. "Why are we introducing ourselves if we're only
showing it to Mr. Bowen?"

Ricky shrugged.

"Because it's the right way to do it." Said Kourtney. She placed her hand on her hip. "Boys I need to trust that you'll be professionals in the making of this tutorial. This is your time to shine."
