The Daily Prophet.
"Look at that, we just might have a normal year."

It has been a week since Harry got his Hogwarts letter. He had set the two papers on his desk and left them there. He didn't know if he wanted to go back or not. He hadn't received any other letters aside from Hermione and Ron and a few other people. Well and the Daily Prophet stating that it was his 18th birthday.
Hermione had sent a letter stating that she and Ron were going back. Then she went on and said she hoped to see him in Diagon Alley a couple of weeks before September first. Ron had sent him two separate letters for his birthday. Molly had sent him a package of baked goods and he felt saddened by it. He knew he shouldn't be feeling such emotions but he did.
While happily ignoring the letters, Harry had been working on his wandless magic. He had taken the information from the books that were stored away in the attic. Kreature helped him whenever he had questions from time to time. His performance was getting better each day, and he was proud of himself.
Other than learning how to do wandless and wordless magic he had been reading up on Purebloods. one thing he knew was that every Pureblood family had certain colors. The Potters were blood red with gold. The Blacks were a dark gray with black. Much to his dismay, the Lupins did not have a color as they were not a very old Pureblood family.
Speaking of the Lupins, Harry had Teddy the next full week as Andromeda had to take care of some business. Harry had seen his godson through the months after the war. He never had him for more than two days. He felt ecstatic about the arrangement and rushed to tell Kreature.
He had felt emotions for the first time in a long time. He wanted it back, it felt so good to be happy. To be excited about something! He just couldn't wait for Teddy to come.
Harry sat in one of the rooms that Kreature had made into a library. He was sorting through the books about Potions when he heard a tapping at the window. He looked up to see an owl. He stood up and walked to the window, opening it.
The owl landed on the desk and held out its leg. He saw the Daily Prophet and grabbed some galleons from his pocket. He may not like what the Prophet says but the paper was great for burning! The owl flew off and Harry closed the window. He scoffed when he saw the front page. In bold letters read;
DRACO MALFOY, GOING BACK TO HOGWARTS?
You read that right, readers. The famous Draco Malfoy is going back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! As part of his plea deal, Mr. Malfoy agreed to finish his last year as the eighth year. Headmistress Minerva McGonagall has sent out letters to those who were in their seventh year when the war happened. She has come up with a brilliant idea to have them finish school as an eighth year if they wish. Many will be returning, Mr. Malfoy as one of them. We have also found out that Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley will be attending Hogwarts for this last year! We have not figured out if Harry Potter will be going, but we will keep you updated.
Rita Skeeter.Harry felt something stirring inside of him. He let out a hiss and burned the paper in the fireplace.
"DAMNIT!" He yelled and a chair flew to the wall. The man stormed out of the library. Kreature noticed his master's anger. He let out a soft sigh as he fixed the chair with a wave of his hand. He knew Harry was going to the basement, that's where he could destroy things with his magic.
Harry stood in the middle of different objects. Many of them were broken but there were still enough things to break. The man broke, finally. After months of hiding everything in, he let it out. Sobs escaped his lips without restraint.
The raven-haired male thought of Sirius, and how they had planned to be a family together. He thought of Remus and Tonks who wouldn't get to be in their son's life. He thought of Fred who wouldn't get to see George expand their joke shop. He thought of Collin and Dennis. Dennis would grow up without his brother. He thought of Dobby and how he loved socks. He thought of Dumbledore who taught him so many things. He thought of Snape and how he had protected him, even if he was a Potter. He thought of his parents who died protecting their only child.
Harry let his magic recoil back into his body. He collapsed in the middle of the wreckage. He didn't wish to wake up.

Draco sat in the gardens. The gardens were his mother's, she tended to them as if they were the most precious thing in the world. It was his comfort place other than his bedroom and maybe the music room. Arrays of all sorts of flowers were sitting around a small fountain and three benches.
Draco smiled as the water trickled down from the top of the fountain. He leaned over and picked a white rose, sliding it through his fingers. He let out a soft hiss as a thorn pricked his finger. He saw droplets of blood seep onto the white flower, quickly he healed his finger. He tried to wipe off the blood only to smudge it.
The man gave up and looked at the flower. His mind wandered over to his closes friends, his heart clenched.
Pansy Parkinson. Draco used to think she was annoying until the third year. Pansy sobered up, the two became very close friends. Rumors around Slytherin's house spread about the two dating. Even though Pansy was the first one Draco told her he was Pansexual. Pansy had a laughing fit after he had told her.
Blaise Zabini. Blaise and Draco were somewhat close. During their fourth year was when they started getting closer. That's how Draco found out he was interested in men. The two shared a dorm until the sixth year when they started getting close. He pushed his only two friends away because of his mission, but that only lead him to bring Theo Nott into his life.
Theo Nott. Draco was wary of the male he had to admit. They didn't trust each other only until the summer before the sixth year. That's when he had to watch all three of his friends get the Dark Mark in the middle of his dining room. Draco found comfort in Theo's jokes he knew that the tanner male didn't like silence. It was weird to hear humming during a Death Eater meeting but no one knew who it was coming from but three people.
The Malfoy let out a soft sigh as his mother walked towards him elegantly. She had a dark blue stripe in her hair, a smirk placed on her face.
"Mother?" He asked, shock clear on his face. He never had seen her with anything on her hair, but there it was. He blinked as she stopped right in front of him. "I have someone here to meet you."
"Why?" Draco looked weary of the woman in front of him. "What have you done to your hair?"
"It's called hair dye Draco. I have Luna Lovegood here. I think it's about time we get that horrid thing a new light." Narcissa looked at his left forearm. Draco nearly choked on his saliva. "You mean a muggle tattoo? You bring Loony- I mean Luna Lovegood here? To the manor?"
Narcissa rolled his eyes, glaring at her son. "A muggle tattoo is different than Wizard ones Draco."
"You're allowing me to do this?" The younger Malfoy stood up, dropping the rose to the ground. "Yes. Now let's go." The lady moved towards the back door of the manor. "She's in the tea room next to the library."
"What have you got me into mother?" Draco whispered as he started towards the manor, fixing his hair once or twice.
The rose laid on the ground, getting swept up by the air. It floated off towards the sky.
