Amber's POV

The worst part about High School for any normal teen is picking out an outfit every day to wear to School because, in the end you end up running out of ideas and wearing the same thing at some point during the weekdays, and at Plainview High School fashion is the key to where you end up sitting in the social pecking order. If your outfit looks too cheap or unbranded your instantly thrown right down to one of the most unpopular kids in the school but for someone like me this task is even harder.

As a very rich and very famous couples daughter you automatically get put on some sort of popular list and what you wear is always of the utmost importance, to make matters worse as a famous couples daughter i'm expected to always have the current in style outfits and if I don't the paparazzi capture it and put it out on the internet for all to see and you get shunned and shammed for it on socials by fans, some of the things they comment on the photos or direct message me are horrible and make you feel terrible about yourself, that and my parents hate it and punish me for it, they say it "ruins their reputation and threatens their careers" so I always have to be very careful when picking an outfit.

After some deep thought I've decided on a cropped black T-Shirt, Ripped green, high waist skinny jeans, a denim jacket if it gets cold nearer the end of the day and my black ankle height all star canvas shoes, I'm ready for the day.

Rodrick's POV

High School, the place they throw hormonal teens in the middle of that awkward transition from a teenager to a young adult so parents don't have to deal with all the phases and mood swings.

Popularity is everything at Plainview, if you're pretty or handsome, have all the expensive latest fashion and brands, the coolest hairstyle and technology you're considered royalty and will be treated as such, but if you don't then you're an outcast, or a freak as many of the people at my school tell me but, in the long run none of that stuff matters in the end, as soon as you leave High School after finales and come back for Prom it's like nobody cares anymore so I think it's all just a lot of pressure and stress for nothing, besides I don't care about popularity, how many friends you have or your body count and, I may tell my wimpy little brother Greg  that all that stuff matters, but I only do that because I already know the little nerd is going to end up becoming one of the bullied lot and, yeah he's annoying but he's still my brother and I don't want him feeling the way I do about life so I do what I can to prevent that from happening.

All I care about is getting my band and I up there with the professionals, it's been my ambition ever since I can remember I only wish my family shared the same ambition, instead they all tell me "I'm wasting my potential" it's not like I have any potential, I suck at everything other than playing the drums so I don't know where they got that idea from.

Looking up up at my clock it red 7:00am, I grabbed some clothes I had left lying on the floor and got changed I really wasn't ready for today at all.

I miss the Summer Holiday's already.

Amber's POV

Most normal kids are really happy to see all their friends again on a daily basis after the summer  but not me I can't stand seeing all my supposed "friends", I do everything I can to keep away from them during the holidays but I can't when School starts and the reason for this is because they're not really my friends, I don't actually have any friends who want to be my friend for me, they're all my friends so they can mooch of off my families celebrity status and money any fool could tell that.

I circled around the parking lot looking for a space and sure enough there they all were waiting for me on the steps, they all waved excitedly at me and I waved back in a friendly gesture, eventually I found a spot, parked my car and made my way to my "friends" on the steps, they were all quick to attack me in hugs.
