Yesterday, we recieved a letter yesterday from the king of Australia. It stated that I was needed at their castle. It also said that they are having a special gathering at their castle. Five princesses were chosen to go, and I was one of them. I was to head to their castle tomorrow morning. The reason for this special occasion was for their son, Prince Ashton, is the next heir to the throne and he needs to be wedded soon.

I argued that I shouldn't have to go. My parents already told me that I could marry who I wanted. They think that this is a great oppurtunity for our kingdom. They think that marrying a rich prince will help us get back on track.

As I watched the maids finish packing my bags, I heard a knock at my door. My mother walked in. She had a small smile one and walked over to me. "Hello dear, how are you?"

I sighed. "I'm good mother, just anxious about tomorrow," I said truthfully.

She placed a hand on my shoulder. "Your father is allowing me to go with you tomorrow, but only until you get settled in properly."

My smile widened at the news. "Father said that? Thank you mother!" I wrapped my arms around her. I stayed there for a little while longer. I just now realized how much I'm going to miss her. And father, too.

"Come on dear, dinner is almost ready," we got up and walked out of my room. There was a guard ready to escort us to the dining room.

When we got there, father was there talking to his general. He stopped his conversation and smiled at us when we approached. "Ah, why it isn't my two favorite women in the world," he smiled at us and gave us both a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Dear do you want me to tell the cooks to make an extra plate for our guest?" My mother was ready to go.

"No, general Isaac and I are done for today," Father shook hands with him. My mother and father started talking about future plans.

"Princess Danielle, I heard that you're going tonAustralia tomorrow for a while," general Isaac turned to me.

"Yes sir. That's correct. I might marry Prince Ashton," I said quietly.

"Sh, I heard that he's quite a dashing man, good luck dear," he smiled down at me.

"Thank you sir," I held out my hand for him to shake.

Instead, he softly grabbed my hand and placed a small kiss on its knuckles. He slowly let go and smiled at me. "It was a pleasure talking to you princess."

I swallowed and looked away. I've never liked the man. Whenever he was near, I got a quesy feeling.
