James Willis was willing to fight for his country. He always loved to watch the news to hear how the soldiers are doing. He's always looked up to them like there his aunts and uncles. When he was in highschool he took ROTC. ROTC is a program at some schools that get you prepared to sign up for boot camp. So when he was in college he took all of his classes and passed them all. The first day he graduated from college. He went to his parents and told them how he was going to go into the Marines and fight for his country. His dad told him to stay safe and come back home alive. There was only one problem about his ideas. His mom would not let him go. So James asked his mother "why?" She said "because James your older brother David went to the Marines, he was a good soldier. But he died in combat and I don't want that to happen to you." James understood why she was upset. James replied "mom I understand but that doesn't mean that it will happen to me." His mom said " Ok son, I trust you. Be safe please." James gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and gave his dad a hug. Then left to go sign up. When he got there he felt so happy. He gave all of his information to the people. Then he sat down at the waiting desk and picked up a times magazine and started reading.
As he was waiting in the waiting room, they finally called his name. He got up and found out when he had to be there. When he left the office he got a text. He sat down in the car and read it. The text stated that he was needed in the Marines. He rushed down to the base. When he got there the general told him to have a seat. So James had a seat in the comfy chair. The general said "I'm sorry I rushed you here but I have important news for you." James replied with "what do you need sir?" The general told him all the stuff that has happened with war. The general finished of with "I need you James, come join us so we will win this war.
James seemed puzzled that the Marines General was asking him to join. James thought this was amazing. Right before James left the general said "Don't tell anyone, alright kid?" James nooded.
James got home to his apartment and laid-back in bed. Tomorrow was the day he thought.
When he got up he put on some jeans and a Guy Harvey shirt. He looked at the alarm clock and it said 4:20 A.M. He heard a big boom from outside his apartment. He noticed Korean solders running down his street. He grabbed his jacket and put it on. He snuck out of the street and grabbed a car. He drove it to the Marines base. He got out and ran till he heard "James!" He halted and turned noticing the general with some exo skeleton on him. The general said "Head for the bunkers and put on your suit." James was confused and intensified. But the general commanded so he ran off and got the suit. As he put on the helmet it shot a shock down his back. Then out of no where the helmet turned on. There was a little like mini map which said which way he had to go. So he started running that way. Once he started running he noticed he was going 15 mph. He was astonished about how fast the suit made him go. He thought why do we have these awesome suits on. But he thought there's no time to think. When he got to the objective the general grabbed him. He yelled "Where have you been soldier!" James replied " The suit shocked me when I put it on sir!" He said "The Koreans came with big weapons. So I need you to flank them and get it." James replied with "Yes sir!" James started running for the first turent. When out of no where he found himself in the middle of three dozen soldiers with all their guns pointed at him.
