Prologue

Maggie's POV

  I was seating in my car seat, squeezing my Scottish rainbow monkey that my Nana Harley gave to me for my birthday this year. 

I was so scared to start at a new school, we just moved to this town and already I knew these people aren't gonna like me. 

I think my mommy could sense that I was scared. 

"Don't worry sweetie this is your first day at a new school." she smiled "Your gonna make tons of friends." 

"But mommy what if the other kids don't like me!" I sink into my seat trying to hide my face with my doll. 

"Then you give the o'l Quinn left hook" My dad flexed his muscles. My daddy is great at make friends, why can't I be like that. 

"My mommy rolls her eyes at my dad while still looking at the road. "Harold!" My mommy didn't like us using our fists or being rough, she said it was "unappealing." 

"Ah relax pipsqueak school ain't that bad." My oldest brother Logan smiled while playing with his football. 

"Yeah just make sure you don't go to the wrong class or the janitor will find you and gobble you up!" My brother Rocky towered over me looking like a scary monster scaring me a little causing me to whimper out of pure fear. 

"I think my brother Huey could sense I was scared and smack Rocky on the back of the head "Cut it out Doofus you're scaring the dudette!" 

My twin brothers pop up from the backseat "Don't worry Aggie who wouldn't want to be friends with a shortie like you." My big brother Alvin ruffles my hair, in which I respond with a huff. 

"Don't worry about bullies either, with us around they wouldn't even dream about picking on ya" My brother Austin smirks "And if they do I'll teach you the squealing pig." Austin puts Alvin's shirt over his head and starts slapping his stomach, causing him to scream in pain. Alvin tackles Austin as he was laughing at him and they started to fight. 

My brothers were part of an worldwide team called the kids next door, they fight evil grownups and help kids. I would join but Logan says I should wait till I'm little older. 

My dad doesn't do anything but smile "Ae that's my boys!" My mommy just rolls her eyes as she stops the car in front of a big school. 

"Alright have a good day at school and behave yourselves." she glares at my brothers in the back. 

My brothers jump out the car "Bye Mom!" They a called as they ran to the door. 

I just sat in the car seat putting my rainbow monkey in front of my face. 

Maybe they won't see me. 

Maybe they'll think they dropped me off and we can go home. 

My mommy does a deep sigh. 

Well that didn't work. 

"Don't worry baby you're gonna be fine cause your daddy is going in with you." 

"I am?" My daddy asked, my mommy elbows him in the stomach "I mean I am!" He changes his answer. 

"I'll come with you and show you that it's not scary." My daddy gets out of the car and unbuckles me I was about to get out when my mommy called me. 

"Maggie" 

I turned to look at her. 

"Aren't you forgetting someone." she smirks as she points to Scottish rainbow monkey.
