"I have no idea!!! Ok Jacob? I told you not to come!!! I'm trying to fine people like me!! People that don't belong in that prison of a lifestyle!! You, you belong there!! Me, i don't. And im tired of not fitting in. I see why you decided to move two years ago. Embarrassed having a friend who doesn't fit in." I say and walk faster than him.
He grabs my wrist. "Ari stop. I wasn't trying to be annoying. I was just wondering when we were going to be there." He says with sympathy glimmering in his eyes.
"Well i don't have a map. Or something to help us, so please. Just forget about it and go back to the village. Live your perfect little life with perfect people, your perfect soulmate, in a perfect house, and leave me be to find people that might actually love me." I snap and yank my arm away.
I walk past a few more trees before he's walking beside me again. I check my watch. "It's 7:54 p.m. we should stop for the night." I say.
"I thought you'd never say that." He says. We find a spot inside a few bushes and lay out our stuff.
"Ok. Did you pack any food?" I ask.
"Yea i grabbed a bit." He say and tosses me a bag of Doritos.
"Thanks. I never got a chance to grab anything from my house, due to me jumping from my window after everyone was in bed." I explain.
"Its Fine. Now eat, and then we sleep." He says.
"Um......." I say, making the. 😳 shookith😳 face.
"Not like that!!! I mean, jeez!!!" He says.
I burst out laughing, and accidentally snort. I quickly cover my face.
"Did you just snort?" He asks smiling.
"I didn't mean to!!" I say, holding back giggles.
"Its Fine, you piggy!!" He says and starts poking my stomach jokingly, making me laugh.
He starts tickling me, making me fall onto my back laughing. "Please.....stop..." I say laughing, and also out of breath.
"Ugh fine." He says rolling his eyes jokingly. He stops and I try to catch my breath.
"Ok I'm sleepy now." I say.
"Ok slug." He says playfully.
"Monkey."
"Dog."
"Horse."
"Pig."
"Chicken."
"Swan."
"Sleep." I say and we stop. I yawn.
I feel an itching on my wrist so i scratch it.
"You ok?" He asks.
"Yea. I think a mosquito bit my wrist is all." I say.
"Are you ok?" He asks.
"Ya. It just itches." I say.
"Let me see." He says and grabs a flashlight.
I hold out my wrist and he grabs it. He turns on the flashlight.
"I don't see anything. It's just red." He says.
"Ok then. Let's get some sleep." I say and pull my hand away softly.
"Ok. Goodnight Ari." He says.
"Goodnight." I say. We lay down on our pallets and i slowly drift off to sleep.
"Hey Ari wake up!!" Jacob whisper yells.
"Ya?" I whisper, waking up.
"Troopers. They're after us." He says.
"Ok." I say and pack up my stuff.
I pull out some clothes. "Can you turn around?" I ask.
"Yeah." He says a bit embarrassed and turns away from me.
I quickly and quietly change clothes.

"Ok I'm ready." I say when I pull my shirt down.
He turns back around. "Are you gonna change clothes?" I ask and turn around.
"Ya thanks." He says.
About a minute later he taps on my shoulder.
"Ok. Lets sneak away." He says. Just then the bush russles and a trooper's head shows.
"Hey i found em'!!!" He yells before i kick him square in the face. He falls down, unconscious.
"Was that necessary?!" Jacob whisper yells.
"No i thought I'd let him in, let him join us for breakfast, maybe go to a dance with him." I whisper sarcastically. "Of course it was necessary!!" I whisper yell.
I put my backpack on before scratching my wrist again. "You ok?" He asks.
"Ya let's go!" I whisper and grab his wrist.
"Holding my hand now are we?" He asks slyly.
"Fuck off." I whisper and sneak through the trees.
We walk through the trees until we hear no more troopers. And then i start running, and he runs a few feet behind me.
"Stop!! I can't catch up!!" He whisper yells.
I slow down and grab his hand and we run as fast as we can farther away from any civilization.
After what seems like forever, we stop running. My feet ache, my lungs and throat burn, and my wrist itches really badly.
I scratch it like there's no tomorrow. "Aaaaah that feels better." I say scratching it.
"Hey hey hey stop!!" He says pulling my hands apart. He grabs my wrist. "Now it has some weird bump. Don't scratch it." He says.
"But it itches!!" I whine.
"Here. Put this on it." He says and tosses me anti itch cream.
"Thanks." I say and put some on the spot. I run it in and hand the tube back.
"Ok let's keep walking." I say and he nods.
We start walking yet again, before i feel a wave if dizziness and I fall, letting darkness consume me.
