"Wake up Ari!!" Jacob says shaking me.

"Ya?" I ask sitting up.

"Come on. We need to get to sunville. It's only a mile away.

"Ok." I say and rub my eyes. He grabs my wrist.

"Hey!! I thought you'd be used to not seeing a mark there by now!" I say.

"No look!!" He says. I look at my wrist. Engraved into my skin was a mark.

"I have a soulmate....." I say hiding the dissapointment.

It wasn't him. My mark didn't glow around jacob.

"You ok?" He asks.

"Ya. Lets go." I say and stand up.

"I'm gonna go change." I say and grab some clothes. I walk behind a few trees and change clothes.

When i come back, he's also changed. "Let's go." I say before I fall backwards due to a dizzy spell.

"Hey you ok?!" He asks very concerned.

"Ya just a dizzy spell." I say. He holds out his hand to help me up.

I grab it but instantly pull away. My wrist felt like I just poured fucking burning hot lava on it.

"Oooowwww!!!!!!" I hiss.

I can tell he's in pain as well.

"That hurt!!" I say.

"Ya come on." He says.

I grab his hand again but my wrist does the fire thing again.

I stand up on my own.

"Let's go now." I say.

"Yeah." He says and we start the journey to sunville.

About 30 minutes later we reach sunville.

"Ok come on." I say and sneak through the gate. He follows me and we sneak through the town until we reach the chemical shed.

I go in and we instantly close the door.

"Ok let's see. Poison, growth, shrink, life, no mark!!" I say and grab a vile.

"Ok let's go." He says. I destroy the original serum. I nod and we go back through the door to see a trooper.

"Ugh!!" She says and grabs my arm.

I grab her gun from her belt and shoot her.

"Let's go!!" I say and we run out of sunville.

"Ok. Now let's find how to transform this." I say.

"Yeah or we won't be able to use it." He says.

I pass him the vile and our fingers brush against each other by accident.

I feel the burning in my wrist but it doesn't stop. I feel it traveling up my arm and throughout my body, making me hiss in pain.

"Woah..." He says.

"What?"

"Look at your arm." He breathes out.

I look down and see not only my mark glowing a bright teal, but my veins all throughout my arm are glowing a bright golden.

It's spreading throughout my veins. I look at him confused. "What is happening?!" I ask.

"I isn't know!!" He says confused. I feel someone come up behind me. I turn around and see Lillian.

"No...." She breathes out. "You can't be!!" She says. "I was sure it was my brother and i killed him!!" She says in disbelief.

What?" I ask.

"Powers. Rebellion. The council will end!!" She says.

"That's right the council is coming to an end because I'm rebelling. We're going to end this freak fake ass system!!" I say.

She looks at me with fear and anger. "Die." She says.

"END THE COUNCIL!!!!!" I scream at her. She flies backwards and i start floating.

"Woah!!!" I say as jacob starts floating right beside me.

"Maybe we can somehow send this up to the middle of it all and make it explode." I say and he nods. I see Lillian slowly die.

"But how are we gonna do that?" He asks.

"I don't know. Maybe together. Like we have this whole time." I say and smile at him.

He grabs my hand. The burning isn't as bad anymore, but i close my eyes because its like looking in the sun.

I concentrate and soon I hear an explosion and then I feel a weird for taking over everything.

Soon, the burning is gone and I open my eyes. The fog is starting to seize, and Jacob and i fall to the ground.

"Well this was an adventure for two 15 year olds." I say and laugh.

"Ya. Woah look. No marks." He says. I look at my wrist and see the familiar bare skin.

"This feels so much more natural than the mark." He says.

"Ya." I say and we start walking back to the council building right in the middle of everything hand in hand.

We walk into the council room. "You have destroyer everything!!!!!" Mr Thomas booms.

"No. We've restored everything back to its original form." I say.

"Now people are free." Jacob adds.

"You two will regret this decision." Melanie says and they all leave.

"Oh my God they didn't do anything!!" I say through tears.

"We're all free." He says.

I hug him. "Everyone is free to make their own choices." I breathe out. He hugs back just as tight.

I pull away from the hug and look at him in the eyes.

I kiss his cheek and we walk out to see everyone happy and dancing around. Doing what they want.

"Well this was some adventure." I say seeing everyone getting technology back.

"Sure was." He says and pecks my lips. I smile and we rum to join the crowd hand in hand.
