I jumped in my car. As I rushed uptown not quite sure that my plan would work. I rehearsed it in my head over and over again. It must be flawless or it won't work I thought. Then suddenly, I heard a siren as blue and red lights flooded the interior of my car. As I pulled over, I rolled the window down, turned off the car, and put my hands over the steering wheel.
I could hear a familiar voice say "Do you know how fast you were going?". Great, I'm going to jail and the gorilla would surely squash me now. I thought to myself. (No protective glass between us.) "I'm so sorry officer my wife's having a baby and I thought I could make it on time?" I explained to the officer. But he wasn't buying it. "Really?" he said. At last, after an hour or so the officer came back to the window as he chuckled away "boy or girl?" "I gonna cut you a break kid." Then he handed a $75 ticket for no seat belt. "Stay safe daddy o" as he returned to his patrol car.
A while later "1049, 1055, 1063 West 41 place, this is the place!" I said as I proceeded out the car "I'm ready, I can do this!" I muffled to my self as I approached the front door and knocked. I remembered a line from a movie I had seen a long time ago. I would surely use it.
"Yes," the voice of a woman came to the door. "Uh, UM? James Stack Financial Time." I said nervously As she laughed away and explained "It's actually James Stock, London Financial Times." "Is saw that movie too; A view to a Kill" James Bond" she clarified. "What do you need, honey," she said in a calm voice.
