"Brace yourself..." My little step-sister mumbled in her sleep. I sighed again. She was going to miss lunch.

"Wake... up, Siren!" I yelled as I pushed her off of her bed. Siren would groan once she hit the floor. "What was that foooorr?" She complained, reaching for my hair to pull on so she could bug me even more than she was. Obviously, I swatted her hand away.

"Oh, suck it up. Lunch is almost ready." I said, walking out of the room. I walked downstairs, hearing the oven go off. As soon as I walked into the kitchen, I noticed that my dad was nowhere to be found. "DAAADD! DID YOU LEAVE THE HOOUUSEE?" I yelled, making sure he would be able to hear me and so would Siren because surprise surprise "Shut up, Aqua!" was heard.

"Girls, stop yelling. And yes, your dad's out getting the mail." A voice said behind me, causing me to shout. "Chill, baby girl. It's just me." The voice said again and I looked over my shoulder. It was my step-mom. She wasn't the best, to be honest but she wasn't Cinderella's step-mom so I put up with her. She got the pizza out of the oven. "Let it cool for a minute, girls. I'll go get your father." And just like that, she was gone.

I looked over at Siren, who was obviously grumpy. She wasn't excited about having a step-sister and neither was I. Having a mom was going to be very different for me, but I was willing to try and make the most of it. "Sorry I pushed you off the bed.." I mumbled.

"What?" Siren said, reaching the kitchen.

"You know what I said." I snapped as I sat on the counter.

"Uhm..sure."

A few seconds later my dad came in, my step-mom behind him.

"Aqua! You got in!" He blurted. "Took them long enough to respond." He scoffed and walked into the kitchen. I was in pure shock. "I got in Blood Moon?"

"Yep! It starts August 15th, what's today, Lissa?" He asked my step-mom.

"August 1." She smiled.

"Oh my lord.. I actually, actually got into Blood Moon?" I said springing off the counter. I ran to my old man and hugged him before backing off a bit and clearing my throat. In just about 2 weeks, I was going to Blood Moon High.

We reached the airport and I tightened my grip on my suitcase. "I'm.. gonna..miss you a little bit?" I grinned awkwardly.

"I'm gonna miss you too, darling." My father said. I'm pretty sure he was about to cry.

I smiled and looked at Siren. "I won't miss you at all."

She smirked. "Ditto."

I looked at Melissa, debating on what to say to my not-so-evil-step-mom. "Goodbye." I decided on and quickly hugged my father. "Make sure to answer my caaaalllss!!" I heard him yell as I walked away.

An hour later, I boarded the plane. I sat by a freckled boy I was familiar with. "Hey, Scorpio." I said with a sort of dull tone. "Is this seat taken?" He shook his head no and I sat down.I sat down on the aisle seat and hoped no one would sit in the middle seat, I was not in the mood to be squished. I looked at my phone. It was 6:34 PM. That meant we were going to be landing around 4 AM. The ride was supposed to take around 10 hours. I sighed and got ready to stay in a plane for what would seem like 10 years instead of 10 hours.

I'm not sure how long I was sleeping but I did eventually wake up. I looked to my right a bit, smiling slightly since the seat was empty. I looked to my further and saw Scorpio looking out the window. I decided to check my phone but it had died and I really reeeeaaally wanted to know what time it was. I looked at Scorpio again. I poked him. "Hey..What time is it?" I whispered just incase it was late. "Midnight." He responded.

So I did sleep a good bit. I got out my sketchbook and colored pencils. I took a deep breath and let it out. I found an empty page and started to draw.

I looked up from my phone and took off my headphones for a minute to hear some people talking. Seriously? What's wrong with them, it's midnight! Then I heard a book or something opening and the talking stopped. Finally. I put on my headphones again, deciding to finish this song before taking a small nap.

I blinked a couple times before I was kind of awake. Then I heard the pilot babbling about the fact that we were here. That meant it was 4 AM.

15 minutes or so later I arrived at a bus stop going to Blood Moon. The bus was quiet and fast and the school wasn't far so we were there in no time.

I got off the bus and looked at the huge school. This is gonna be fun.. I thought as I walked in. It seemed like there was a lot of students that took a plane here, like me, because the halls were decently filled. I took a deep breath and walked to the principal's office, letting it out.

I reached the office and there was a small line of people. I looked and saw Virgo. My old "friend." No, she just hated me in middle school. We were always competing. We competed for school council positions. We competed for spots on P.E. teams. We competed for who got to school first. I meant it when I said everything. The last time we saw each other was when we both betted we would get into Blood Moon. Look where we are now...
