CHAPTER FIVE ➺ FIRST DAY PT.2

Libra's POV

I just missed the first day of school. The teachers are totally gonna kill me. I accidentally slept in and I wasn't worrying about being at the dorms sooner because my house is so close! Ugh, I'm so gonna regret this.

I opened the door to my dorm and went straight to the bedroom to unpack. I went to the empty bed and started.

A couple minutes later, I was done and also speed. I left the dorm to find the last class I have of the day, history. I slowly walked in, realizing I was the first one. Lunch was right before the last class of the day for first years so I guess it wasn't bad.

"So, Mr. Brook. I've been told you haven't been here all day?" The teacher said, turning her attention to me.

"Yeah.. Oops. I slept in, I'm really sorry." I said nervously.

"Hm.. I'll give you a break since it's the first day. Next time it happens, you get detention."

"Y-Yes, ma'am." I sat down near the front and waited for the rest of the class to come in.

"Ooohh. Who are yoou?" I heard a voice behind me ask. I jumped and turned my head to face them.

She had shoulder length white hair and dark gray eyes.

"M-My name's Libra?" I said.

"Ooooohh. I'm Gemini!!" She smiled and sat down on the desk next to me. "My friends should be here soon!" She started swinging her legs.

"Cool." We waited in silence after I said that.

A minute or two later, a girl with brown braided hair came in with a girl with red hair.

"Wweee'reee heeerreee!!" The red haired girl said.

"Yay! Aries! Cancer! What took you so long?" Gemini asked the two. "Wait, Cancer, this isn't your class?

"You're fast and Aries almost walked into the wrong classroom so I was saving her." The brown haired girl said. She's probably Cancer, most people don't speak in third person.

"Okay! Well, this is Libra!" Gemini turned to me.

"Oh, hi." I said.

"Nice to meet you, Libra! I'm Aries, I think you already knew that- but hey, I haven't seen you at all today. What's up with that?" The red haired girl that I now know is Aries sat down behind Gemini as Cancer sat on the other side of her, to catch her breath, probably.

"Uhmm.. I was late?"

"Very late, I can tell." Gemini giggled.

"Hahah. Yeah." I smiled slightly.

The bell rang.

"And now I'm gonna be late." Cancer mumbled, running out.

Class was finally done.

I got my stuff and planned to just leave but Gemini looked at me- no, stared at me. I found it a bit weird so I looked back at her.

She smiled. "Wanna join my study group? You seem pretty cool!" She asked.

"Uhm,, okay? Sure." I answered.
