" 'Feather/hair' floofs"

After an hour of visiting in the kitchen after breakfast Roughraff and Raff left, as Roughraff had his inspiriting job and Raff had some errands and etc. to do at their place so after breakfast they left after they helped clean up some dishes.

Babblong yawns and shakes his head trying to shake off the sleep, as he washes some dishes that Roughraff and Raff missed. Babbler smirks at his mate, as he helps Timi down from his booster seat

"Still sleepy there Babs?" he asks as Timi goes to the couch to watch cartoons.

Babblong just smiles sleepily at Babbler and Timi and nods "I think I need more sleep....but hey I have some chores, more To do today and I have never felt dizzy and nauseous like that before...."

Babblong looks slightly embarrassed as he rubs the back of his head and his 'feathers/hair'.

Babbler tilted his head "hey babs...."

Babblong stops rubbing his head for a sec "hmm?"

Babbler points to Babblong's 'feathers/hair', making Babblong tilt his head curiously.

"I...um have a question....um" Babbler looks nervously around as Timi plays with his toys in the living room watching cartoons.

Babblong looks worried too "what's wrong Babbler? You seem nervous..."

Babbler then points to the bathroom "can we talk alone...."

Babblong nodded "hey Timi daddy needs my help fixing something in the bathroom so if you need us we'll be there ok~"

Timi looks up from his toys and giggles "ok mama"

Timi then goes back to playing, while his parents head to the bathroom.

"So what's wrong Babbler?" Babblong looks at his mate as he closes the door, as the only time he saw Babbler upset like this was when he was in the hospital.

"Um, it's about my past....you know the rumours of the soul destroyers and mutant yokai?" Babbler explains as he looks upset.

Babblong nodded at his mate as he spoke again.

"well..." Babbler continued looking at the mirror.

He then looks down "I'm one of those mutant yokai...."

Babblong's eyes widen and start to tear up as recently lord Enma had destroyed a lab that looked like a prison. rumours were that the scientists there were humans/yokai who captured humans and forced them to become yokai then to mutate them....

Babblong tears up more as rumours where many families were torn apart forcefully by those scientists and he realized something that made his upset more.

"wait... Babbler you mean you where..." as he speaks his voice is shaky.

Babbler nods sadly at his upset mate "me, Raff and our other gang member Claws were all once human.... we were torn from our families, turned into yokai forcefully, and...."

Babbler paused "...and mutated..."

Babbler gives a startled yelp, when Babblong hugs him tightly and of course he hugs back...

Babbler whines softly "I don't know anything about my new body besides...well being a 'weapon' ....I was hoping you could show and teach me, I didn't know I even had a pouch..."

Babblong just nods, still holding Babbler in a hug "we won't tell Timi till he's a bit older ok~..."

Babbler smirks softly and nuzzles Babblong's neck "ok...thank you for letting me get that off my chest..~"
