Chapter 15

Misaka and Rua

Rua sits in the back of Brendon's car Next to Ruiko and Remi

Remi: are you sure you can do this

Rua: yes I'm sure

Brendon: good because we're almost there

Ruiko: Misaka I haven't seen her in two years

Rua: I hope she's doing well

After what felt for rua like an eternity they arrived at misaka's house

Rua and Brendon get out of the car

Brendon: are you ready for this

Rua: I kinda have to be

Rua walks up to the door and knocks

Misaka answers the door

Rua: h-hey it's been a long time

Misaka: ya it has but that leads to my first question why are you here which leads to my second question what do you want

Rua: I'm here to tell you what really happened that day

Misaka: oh the truth you mean that you're a crazed monster that killed my boyfriend

Rua flinched

Rua: p-please listen

Misaka: no you listen I don't want to hear it just leave I don't care what you have to say

Brendon: Misaka please just listen

Misaka: no I don't want him here so take him and leave

Rua: please listen I just want to talk

Misaka: there's nothing to talk about leave now

Rua pulls up his hood and walks back to the car hiding his face

Remi rolls down the window

Remi: hey are you ok

Rua says nothing

Ruiko looks at Rua

Ruiko: you had to have known it wouldn't be that simple just be glad you tried that's more than she can say

Rua remains quiet

Arlo: this is just sad how did someone as pathetic as you end up as king

Rua: I didn't want the Damn title in the first place

Rua shouted

Rua: you want Your stupid kingdom back you can have it

Rua walks away from the car and past the house

Remi gives Arlo a disapproving look

Arlo: if he can't handle personal matters how is he supposed to handle school affairs 

Remi: still he needs help no one person can do everything

Arlo sighs

Arlo: that is the burden of a king they must carry the weight of the world for there people no matter how it affects them

Remi: but no person should have to shoulder the burdens of that life alone I Mean not even you do you have me Blyke and Isen to help you

Arlo: and still you understand so little the king holds the weight the king moves his noble force to keep the balance at the end the king makes the order the others just follow

Ruiko: and everyone just has to accept that

Arlo: I don't make the rules of the world I just follow what has been enforced as normal

Ruiko: and how is that ok

Remi: the more you talk about it the more crooked it sounds

Brendon get's in the car
