Betty woke up in Jughead's hotel room. She saw some pills and a glass of orange juice on the bedside table with the notes "Eat me" and "Drink me" next to each. She took the pills and Jughead soon entered the room after his morning run.
"Good morning, Elizabeth. How are you feeling?"
"Better than I deserve. Did you put me to bed?" She said, running her fingers through her hair.
"Mm-hmm." Jughead nodded, going to the couch and opening the food under the small metal top.
Betty looked down and bit her lip. "You undressed me?" She asked, biting her lip.
"I didn't have much choice." He said, covering toast with some butter.
"Where did you sleep?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. He pointed to the spot next to her and she looked over.
Betty bit her lip and her eyes widened. "Oh, my God. Did we...? We didn't...?" She said, freaking out.
"Somnophilia is not my thing." He said, chuckling softly.
"So we just slept then?" She asked, feeling relief.
"It was a novelty for me too." Jughead chuckled and walked over to her, giving her the toast with butter.
"You...need to eat. I had Taylor pick you up some clothes." He said, sitting in front of her.
"Who's Taylor?" She asked, looking down at the toast.
"My driver." He answered, simply.
"Thank you, but you didn't have to do that." She said, biting her lip.
"Yes, I did. Yours were covered in vomit. You shouldn't get drunk like that. I'm all for testing the limits, but you put yourself at risk last night."
Betty sighed and nodded, taking a bit of her toast. "I know."
She looked up and her eyes widened, seeing Jughead take his shirt off. A blush spread across her cheeks as she took another bite of her toast.
"If you were mine you wouldn't be able to sit down for a week." He said, crawling on the bed, sitting opposite of her.
Betty looked up at him in confusion. "What?" She asked, before seeing him take a bite out of her toast, never breaking eye contact.
"I gotta go take a shower." He said, walking to the bathroom.
Betty looked down at the toast and put it down. "Why am I here, Jughead?"
She soon looked over and saw Jughead leaning against the doorway. "You're here because I'm incapable of leaving you alone."
Betty bit her lip. "Then don't. Why did you send me those books?"
"I thought I owed you an apology." He shrugged.
Betty sighed and looked up at Jughead. "For what?" "
For letting you believe that I..." He started before cutting himself off, sitting next to her on the bed.
"Listen to me, I don't do romance. My tastes are very...singular. You wouldn't understand."
Betty bit her lip and looked down, soon looking back up at him. "Enlighten me then."
Jughead looked at her before touching her face tenderly. He started to lean in to kiss her but stopped himself.
He turned away and walked to the bathroom. Betty sighed softly and huffed in annoyance, wanting him to just kiss her already.
~~~~
Betty walked out of the bathroom, clad in the clothes Taylor had brought for her. Jughead looked up and couldn't help but smile gently.
"You look beautiful." He complimented, getting up and walking to her.
"Taylor has good taste." She smiled softly.
"What are you doing later?" He asked, crossing his arms in a neutral manner.
Betty sighed softly. "I'm working at the hardware store till seven."
Jughead nodded. "I'll have Taylor pick you up then."
Betty bit her lip and looked down, only for Jughead's hand to find her cheek, touching her button lip.
"I'd like to bite that lip." He confessed.
"I think I'd like that too." She said, looking up at him.
Jughead sighed and moved his hand. "I'm not gonna touch you, not until I have your written consent."
Now Betty was majorly confused. "What?"
"I'll explain later. Come, I'll take you home." He said, walking to the elevator with her.
Betty bit her lip, looking at the elevator doors. She suddenly heard footsteps and looked over.
"Fuck the paperwork." Jughead muttered, pressing her against the wall.
Jughead pressed his lips against her passionately, Betty kissing him back. He grabbed her wrists with one hand, pinning them up above her head.
Just as the kiss gets heated, the elevator beeps and Jughead quickly pulled away. He stood next to Betty, both of them acting like nothing happened as a group of business men enter.
They all get in and press their floor number, starting a conversation with themselves. Jughead looked over at Betty with a soft smirk.
"What is it about elevators?" He muttered, causing Betty to smile softly.
~~~~
Betty and Jughead entered her apartment to find Veronica and Archie naked on the couch. Betty squealed and quickly looked away, biting her lip.
Well, that was certainly quick. Archie quickly got up and pulled on his clothes, Veronica doing the same.
"Hey." Archie said, walking over, now fully dressed. Betty looked at him and smiled softly.
"Hey." She greeted, waving.
"Hi, you must be Betty." He smiled, waving back.
"You must be Archie." She smiled and he nodded.
"And we must be going, Archie." Jughead said, tapping on his watch.
Archie nodded before turning to Betty. "So awesome to meet you. Veronica's told me a lot about you."
Jughead sighed and crossed his arms. "Archie, find your shoes. Some of us have work to attend to."
"What you are doing with Mr. Warmth here, I have no idea." He joked, causing Betty to laugh softly.
Archie put on his shoes and walked over to Veronica, kissing her goodbye, making Betty and Jughead uncomfortable. "Laters, baby."
Archie waved and soon walked out of the apartment, Veronica waving. Jughead turned to Betty, smiling softly.
"I'll see you tonight. Email me if something changes."
"My computer's broken." She explained, biting her lip.
"Well call then, you know you have my number." He cupped her face with a smug smile.
"Laters, baby." He said, chuckling before walking out.
Betty smiled softly, watching him before turning to Veronica. "Archie seems really nice." She laughed softly.
"No, no. We're starting with you. If you're seeing him again tonight, that means that something happened. Betty?"
Betty avoided the question and started walking away. "I have to get ready for work." She said, causing the two to laugh.
Betty sighed softly, biting her lip. "We just kissed. Once."
"Only once? That's odd." She said, seeming disappointed.
"Mm. Odd doesn't even cover it." Betty said, fiddling with her shirt.
Veronica crosses her arms and hummed. "Uh-huh."
Betty turned and walked away, but not before hearing Veronica. "And a new jacket. Hm."
Betty just ignored her, rolling her eyes. Veronica didn't even know the half of it.
