Capricorn's PoV
Did I have friends? Yes and no. My friends were... everyone, really, from Aries to Aquarius. I was like a social butterfly, flitting around friend groups. This month, I was hanging around Scorpio, Aquarius, and Taurus.
"Catch, Cap!" Taurus yelled as he tossed me a ball. We were in the middle of P.E, and the game of dodgeball had just started. I caught the ball and threw it at Leo, who got hit almost instantly. Focusing intently on the game, I started dodging balls left and right.
On the opposite side of the field was Pisces, the only other girl minoring in sports. She had a ball in her hand and hurled it at Sagittarius. He caught it, and Pisces was out. The game was quickly over, and I went over to Pisces to talk.
"Hey," I said, wiping sweat off my brow. "You were good."
"Says you! You're the one who survived," Pisces countered. "Um, so, what do you have next?"
"English lecture."Pisces sighed. "Cool. It's so freaking hot out here, though. I have a maths major."
I nodded and walked off, not expecting anything to happen. The weather was hot, so the cool blast of air conditioning felt good when I walked into the lecture hall. In the front seat was Libra, working hard on an assignment on her laptop. She looked up at me, taking her earbuds out to listen.
"Hey! How're you doing?" She asked.
"Good, you?"
"I don't understand how Scorpio can bear the pressure of translating between so many different dialects and languages so easily. It's hard to stop focusing on one subject to focus on another," Libra complained. I nodded in agreement; he had a strong ambition, and Scorpio was arguably taking the hardest courses in the university. The rest of the class filed in and Libra popped her headphones back in, typing something out before closing the tab and lowering the lid. Moving that to the side, she took out a notebook and pencil.
"Class!"
We all jumped to attention, taking out our notebooks. The lecture ran by, and quite quickly it was done. Me and Libra left the room as she glanced at her watch, nearly blanching when she realized what time it was.
"Sorry, Capri! I'll talk later, but I really need to go! Bye!" She ran down the stairs to go somewhere, probably her other major. I turned to see Scorpio with his phone out, rubbing his temples. He looked up as he saw me."I'm not in the mood to talk, these languages are really confusing me."
I shrugged and walked towards my Interior Designs class.
