A/N: Welcome to the story friends! I've literally had this idea for ages but am only now getting around to writing it.

I would also like to make something clear: Whilst GR3T4 is described as being 13 she is actually much, much older. This is explained in later chapters but just wanted to put this disclaimer here so y'all don't go around thinking I'm weird.

Anyway, happy reading and I hope you enjoy :)

.............................................

Darkness. That's all patient GR3T4 has ever known. She was caged in darkness...literally. She was trapped in a cell that was too small without so much as a bed. The only company that she ever got was the swam of scientists so desperate to experiment on her. You see patient GR3T4 had the ability to make objects float and move with only a swift flick of her wrist. This innate ability had compelled a team of scientist to push her to see how far her ability could go which resulted in multiple beatings, burnings and all-round torturing of the girl.

Sitting in her cell that she called a home GR3T4 waited. The endless years of torture and every day she stilled feared it. The cell door opened and in walked the head scientist.

"Patient GR3T4, stand!" the booming voice called.

The girl stood naively hoping that if she went along with what he wanted he would treat her somewhat kindly but she knew deep down no matter what she did se would be beaten senseless. Two armed soldiers grabbed both her arms tightly and began to drag her out of the room. The girl winced as her wounded and bruised body was thrown into a room like a ragdoll. She sat at a table with the swarm of scientist watching her through the one way glass. She watched as the door opened and a scientist entered.

'Please be an easy task' she thought. But when the glass of water was placed in front of her, her stomach dropped.

The scientist left the room and a voice appeared over the speaker.

"Patient GR3T4 your task is to remove the droplets of water individually from the glass. Faliure to complete the task will result in punishment." The speaker crackled off and the girl stared at the glass with fear. Water was such a ficle thing to control and as far as she knew it practically impossible to do so.

The girl raised her hands and allowed for them to begin to glow a vibrant red. She stared intently at the water as red light bounced off it, being just unable to catch the water droplets in their grasps.

Tears threatened to spill from her eyes. Why couldn't she do this simple task! As her determination grew the light from her hands shone brighter but the water remained unwavering. She could hear the scientist in the other room talking loudly. She must be doing terribly for them to make enough noise that she could hear them in the next room. Finally a voice crackled ovet the speaker.

"PATIENT GR3T4 STOP THIS AT ON-"

But before she could hear the completed sentence she was engulfed in a blue light leaving the testing room empty.

The Hargreeves sibling stared perplexed at their brother who had just seemingly appeared out of nowhere and who also hadn't appeared to have aged a day, make a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

"So are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asked his brother to which Five remained silent.

Luther stood up "it's been 17 years."

"It's been a lot longer than that" Five scoffed at his feeble minded brother before spacial jumping across the kitchen.

"I haven't missed that" Luther muttered.

"Where'd you go" Diego asked wanting to get some sort of information out of Five.

"The future" Five said before spacial jumping back to the table "it's shit by the way."

"Called it" Klaus cheered.

"I should've listened to the old man" Five said "you know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice." Five looked curiously at Klaus before acknowledging him with a "nice dress."

"Oh, well, danke!" Klaus said twirling the fringe of the skirt.

"Wait how did you get back?" Vanya asked confused.

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspened quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time" Five stated as he spread peanut butter across the bread.

"That makes no sense" Diego said shaking his head.

"Well it would if you were smarter" Five snared.

Diego stood up ready to launch himself at Five only to be held back by Luther. "How long were you there?" Luther asked.

"Forty-five years" Five said "give or take." Luther and Diego sat down astonished at their brother. "So what are you saying? That you're 58?" Luther asked stunned.

"No, my consciousness is 58" Five said finishing off his sandwich "apparently my body is 13 again."

"Wait how does that even work?" Vanya asked.

"Delores kept saying the equations were off" Five chuckled before taking a bit of his sandwich "bet she's laughing now."

"Delores?" Vanya asked wanting to know who this woman was. Five picked up the nearby newspaper and saw the headline 'City Says Goodbye To Reginald Hargreeves'. "Guess I missed the funeral" Five shrugged.

"How'd you know about that?" Luther asked immediantly suspicious.

"What part of the future don't you understand?" Five asked sarcastically "heart faliure huh?"

"Yeah." "No." Luther and Diego said simultaneously.

Five clicked his tounge "nice to see that nothing's changed."

Just as Luther opened his mouth to rebut a whooshing sound could be heard coming from the garden, similar to the sound that was made before five appeared. The siblings all looked at Five for explanation. "That's not me" Five said in a voice barely above a whisper before spacial jumping to the garden. The sibling all followed in pursuit before reaching the garden where they saw another portal opening.

"Five?" Luther asked.

"Like I said, not me!" Five said annoyed although he had a feeling he may have had something to do with this. Suddenly a figure dropped from the portal, landing on the ground in front of the group. They watched as the figure sat up slowly. It was a young girl who looked no older than 13, who was wearing a hospital gown and had cuts and bruises all over her body.

The figure stared back at the group, fear lacing her eyes. She scrambled back until her back hit Ben's statue and she couldn't go any further. She placed her knees up to her chest and began hyperventalating.

The Hargreeves took several steps back as they watched rocks, fallen tree branches and several garden furnshing rise above Ben's statue.
