The girl put her knees to her chest and began sobbing "please don't hurt me" over and over again. The Hargreeve's siblings watched on slightly confused and slightly scared due to the several rocks, trees and other garden items floating several feet above them that may come down at any time. But mostly they felt empathy. They saw themselves reflected in that scared girl in front of them: unable to fully control their powers, abused and scared beyond belief.

They looked at each other, unsure of how to approach the situation. Allison decided to make the first move.

"Hey it's okay," Allison said inching closer to the girl before gently placing a hand on her knee. The girls head instantly shot up with fear piercing her eyes. The girl's eyes rolled to the back of her head before she hit the ground unconscious.

"Look out!" Luther cried as all of the floating objects came crashing down. Allison quickly moved out of the way of the falling debris. "Go get mum" Allison gestured to Diego who quickly went and found her.

The siblings all sat anxiously waiting for Grace to come out of the surgical room. When she finally did the siblings all stood up immediately.

"She's resting now" Grace informed the worried group "she passed out most likely due to exhaustion, she also had several wounds and bruises, all formed at different times, across her body which indicates repeated physical trauma."

"Can we see her?" Luther asked wanting to find out who this mysterious girl was.

"Yes but be gentle," Grace said moving out of the doorway, allowing for the siblings to pass through hurriedly. Once they reached the recovery bed, they all began to hover over her wanting to see if she was okay. A few moments passed and slowly the girl's eyes began to flicker open before opening widely as she stared back at the six pairs of eyes looking down at her. Once Grace noticed that the girl was awake she ushered the group out of the way so that she could check on her.

"Hello, dear my name's Grace. What's yours?" She asked. The girl thought for a moment. She found a strange comfort in this woman even though she didn't know her. Due to this the girl stuck out her arm revealing a small tattoo on her wrist that read: 'G-R-3-T-4'.

"That's your name?" Luther asked sceptically. The girl nodded.

"Well, that won't do at all" Grace tutted, "I think we'll call you... Greta." The girl pondered for a second. Greta. She quite like the sound of it. She gave a small smile indicating that she liked Grace's choice of name.

"Where did you come from?" Diego asked threateningly, wanting some answers as to who this girl was. The girl curled up, scarred by Diegos threatening nature.

"I don't know," she said in a voice that was barely a whisper.

"You don't know where you're from?" Diego asked, eyes narrowing. Greta shook her head. "Convenient" he muttered.

"Well she appears to be fine," Grace said facing the siblings "but it's best to keep an eye on her, just to make sure there aren't any hidden injuries."

"Thanks, mom," Vanya said. Grace left the room causing the siblings to huddle and whisper amongst themselves.

"So what are we doing with her?" Diego asked.

"What do you mean 'what are we doing with her'? She's staying here" Allison said offended by Diego's statement.

"I don't know Allison," Luther said, "I think it's unwise to allow a complete stranger into our house especially one who we know has abilities like us."

"Guys she seems pretty harmless" Klaus reasoned.

"That's what they want you to think" Diego said in a low voice "then in the middle of the night, they're over you, knife in hand slitting your throat." As the siblings continued to argue Five finally silenced them.

"Guys!" he said firmly. Five glanced over at Greta, who he could see was scared shitless. "I brought her here from God knows where. Another place, another time perhaps. All I know is that she doesn't belong here and unless we watched over her she's either going to get herself killed or kill someone herself."

Diego huffed "fine but she is your responsibility and if she ends up killing us that's on you." Diego left the room.

"Okay well, hi Greta" Allison said approaching the small girl "I'm Allison and you're going to be staying here with us okay?" Greta remained silent. "Well first thing's first, I think we need to get you some new clothes." Allison offered her hand to Greta which after a few moments of consideration Greta took.

Allison led Greta to her room and sat her down on the bed. She open her wardrobe and pulled out an Umbrella Academy uniform and sighed "I know it's not the best thing in the world but it's the only thing I've got that will fit you. Besides at least it's better than your... hospital gown." Allison handed Greta the uniform "I'll leave you here to get changed and then I'll be back to fix your hair" Allison smiled before leaving the room and closing the door behind her.

Greta began to put on the uniform, immediately taken aback by the quality of the garment. She had never felt something this nice in her life. Once she had the entire thing on she looked at herself in the mirror in Allison's room. She almost didn't recognise herself. Allison soon came back into the room, hairbrush in hand, and began to brus out Greta's shoulder length, deep brown hair. It felt amazing to have all of the tangles out of her hair.

Once Allison had finished 'working her magic' as she put it, she stood back to admire her handiwork. "You look beautiful Greta" she said smiling. Greta looked bashfully down at her feet. "Come on let's go see the others."

Allison took Greta's hand and lead her down the stairs and into the living room where the rest of the Hargreeves sibling, Pogo and Grace were. When Five saw Greta he did a double-take. He had never been particularly fond of the Umbrella Academy uniform (a cruely irony, considering how it was now the only thing he could wear) but surprisingly he didn't mind it on Greta. Five brushed this thought off thinking that it was just in contrast to what he had previously seen her wearing.

"Now that we are all here shall we begin the eulogy?" Pogo asked. The siblings nodded and made their way to the courtyard. Five offered his arm to Greta which she cautiously took. It was hard for Five to ignore the increasing speed of his heart.
