Fight - Chapter 2

"What did you just say?" I saw his fist go up in flames.
"Natsu! stop!" Said the blonde. She placed herself in front of him, trying to defend me.
"Listen- My name's Lucy. You're in the guild, Fairy Tail." She said softly.
"And I'm Gray" said a half naked man, with a built body. He scratched his neck awkwardly.. That was weird. I wasn't even talking to him.

"Why on earth do you want to kill Natsu- and how do you even know him?"  Spoke the girl that was holding me back. I stared at her, not wanting to answer.
"The name's Levy." She finished. After that, she let me go

"My brother.." as I tried to remember, a shock of electricity blasts throughout my entire body.
"N-NGH! AH! Please- Help!" I cry out. My vision was fading, my heart was pounding, and everyone's voices just sounded like muffles. I could hear bits and pieces, but I felt like I was going to die.

"GET MIRAJANE!" Gray yells. The girl with white wavy hair ran over to my side.
"Shh, it's ok (Y/N), look into my eyes." She cupped my head in her soft pale hands and I stared into her blue eyes, tears blocking my vision.
"I need you to breathe, in and out, deep breaths." She was counting how long to hold it, and I repeated the process, until I felt a little better, more safe.

"You just had a panic attack, relax I'm here." The girl known as Mirajane said and placed a warm, wet towel on my forehead. I laid back on the bed. She reminded me of my mother, so kind and caring.
"Please, (Y/N) continue." Levy said. I took a big sip of the water Mirajane brought me and braced myself to continue.

"My brother wants Natsu dead." I say breathing hard.
"Who's your brother?" Natsu asks, anxiously.

I can't tell them!

They'll kill him...

"I don't remember." I lied, "All I do know is that my name is (Y/N), I'm 17, mage, and I have one purpose. I must kill The fire wizard, Natsu." My eyes start to water as memories bubble up again.

"Gray, carry her." Mirajane says, "-And take her to your home." she adds. Everyone leaves and it's just Lucy and Natsu left in the room.

"Natsu, why would she say that?" Lucy asks.
"If I knew Luce, I wouldn't have asked! I've never seen that chick before in my life-" Natsu failed for words.
"H-hey- calm down. We can ask tomorrow." Said the blonde. The two left the room, confused and worried for the life of their fellow guild mate.

-At Grays house-

"Gray- you have to let me go! I have to end him- I have no choice-" I cry as he carries me into his home.
"I'm sorry (Y/N), as much as he gets on my nerves, he's still my friend. I can't let you hurt him."

(Grays Pov)

Why did she show up? Where is she even from? A beautiful girl like her wanting to kill one of my guild mates- It makes no sense! I didn't notice right away, but she fell asleep in my lap after I sat her down on the couch. I tucked her into my bed and hopped in next to her. Her warm touch grazes my skin as we fall into a deep slumber.

What are we going to do?

(Your Pov)

~Back the guild~

"(Y/N)! I HAVE IT! I CHALLANGE YOU TO A BATTLE!" Only one voice can sound that annoying.

"Natsu." I turn around from the bar. I was drinking to sooth away my pain, But as I faced the opposite end, I saw the guild doors open with one pink headed boy in between them.

"Why would I ever battle you?" I ask. The whole guild was now staring at me and the Salamander.
"Because, if I win, you can't kill me!" He said highly confident.
"And if I win?" I say suddenly intrigued.
"Then you can have my head on stick.. if you're into that kind of kinky stuff." My eyes light up. "Better start planning your funeral, Dragon slayer. I never lose."

We head outside and I prepare to fight while Natsu eats some of Romeo's fire. I stare at the salmon haired boy as he says four words.
"I'm fired up now!"

I snort loudly. He heard and turned his head.
"Romeo, come here, let me see that fire." I say.
"Uh- sure, don't know what good it could do you though. Only fire dragon slayers and eat it." He responded confused.

As he stands next to me, I take his flame into my palm and swallow it whole.

"You're a dragon slayer!?" Natsu yells in shock. The entire guild started gossiping, placing bets, and even gramps came outside to see the battle.

"Something like that. Now lets begin." I mock. The two of us ready our positions, and before Natsu even has a chance to hit, I make the move first-

"Fire Dragon Roar!"

We both yell out. Our flames burn each other out, and I run up to him, readying my fist- "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" I punch his straight across his jaw, knocking him back into a pile of hay. He gets up, spitting blood on the concrete pavement. The sun starts to set, as it continues to grow darker.

"Not bad newbie." He smirks.

For the next hour it becomes a constant back and forth battle, him attacking and me blocking, and vise versa.

"Ju-just give up already!" I groan in pain, gripping my stomach. My insides felt like they were bleeding. Black eyes on both of us, bruises covering ever inch of our shaking bodies.

"Why d-don't you!" he shouts back.
"Ugh- that's it- Wind God slayer magic! Heal!" My body was ridding itself of the pain, the bruises now disappearing until my skin was healthy, soft and strong again.

The guild- suddenly alert again, stare, wide eyed.
"H-HOW DID YOU?!" Natsu screams.

"It's called take over magic, learn it, live it, love it." I say smirking.

"T-take over?!" He stutters, still trying to process. I could hear conversations going on throughout the guild.

"Take over?" Said a person.
"Like Mira's?" Asked another.
"No- this take over is more advanced. It's a certain kind of magic only very few know. They can touch a person and not only be able to look like them, but gain their magical abilities and their memories. It's a forbidden lost magic. No one is born with it, it is taught from a young age." Said Mirajane, still in shock. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the Master eyeing me more carefully, studying my moves.

"Ready for round two?" I say in a low tone.

"I like you (Y/N). Even if you really do want to kill me." He uses Romeo's fire as a quick boost and gets ready to fight again. He flashes me a smile and makes his move.

~1 hr later~

"Ive had it up to here, Salamander!" As the air grows cold, and the trees blow from the strong wind, the magic that I was born wish arises once again. For the first time in eight years, I let it out: The Darkness.

"(Y/N) WHAT MAGIC IS THIS?!" I hear someone shout. My magic- the magic I was born with- My death magic! I can't control it!
"N-no! HELP ME!" A sphere of the death magic I created surrounds me, and I slowly start to pass out only to see a figure running towards me.
