It was Christmas time and Brad was bringing his fiance to meet his parents. Alice had met Kathy once before and they didn't seem to click. Brad was hoping that because of the holidays they can get to know each other more so they can see how wonderful Kathy is.
Donna was making dinner with the help of thier maid while Alice was sitting in the kitchen talking to her mother. While in the sitting room Bradley senior was watching a game with his neighbor.
Hannah was helping her mother prepare dinner in the kitchen and Mrs Jones was rattling on and in about how her oldest daughter couldn't spend Christmas with them because of a boy and how come they never met him.
"They've been engaged for few months now and I still haven't met him. How does that happen?"
"He lives on the other side of the country and he's a busy man I guess" Hannah tried to reason with her mother.
"To busy to meet his fiance's parents?" She spat and Hannah kept quiet. Her father was always quiet. She was a bit more afraid of him than her mother since she knew what to expect from her mother. But her father, she never knew what he was thinking.
