"Alright, come on, my parents aren't home, calm down," Y/N ushered Touko into her house and then into her room. Touko had promised her that she would show her some of her writing, if she could do it in Y/N's own home.

"A-Are you sure they won't i-intrude?"
"I'm sure!"
"O-Okay then," Touko pulled out a notebook from her backpack and handed it to Y/N.

The other girl took it eagerly, "Is there a specific one I should read?"
"N-Not particularly. J-Just don't read the recent ones."
"Why not?"

Touko froze. She may or may not have written some stuff about Y/N recently. Some stuff that, if it were to get into the wrong hands, would make Y/N hate her, or so she thought.
"They're not f-finished."
"Oh, okay then."

Y/N flipped to the middle and began reading. She read Touko's story, it was about two boys, who always fought and bickered. They had feelings for each other, but neither had the courage to say anything, much to the dismay of their friends. Eventually, years later, all of the friends meet again to finish unfinished business. The two now men are closer then ever, and they even seem to be getting closer to a confession. In the end though, one of the men dies. The other man is in distraught. He never really gets over the deceased. He ended up hiring and working with a man who looked and acted very similar to his lost love, and that was the end of it.

When Y/N had finished reading the short story, she turned to Touko, mouth hanging open.

"Holy shit, Touko this is amazing."
"D-Don't lie to m-me!"
"I'm not lying! This is amazing! I'm close to tears!"
"R-Really? Hmm, I g-guess I could believe y-y-you. Thank you Y/N, i-it means a lot. I-If you are telling the truth."

The two girls hung out in Y/N's room for a while more. They ended up playing Charlie Murder on Y/N's XBOX. Surprisingly, Touko died a lot less than
Y/N. She was impressive. Along with that, they played Call Of Duty, Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill and 'Splosion Man. Touko was better than Y/N had expected, it was amazing to watch her ACTUALLY LAUGH when Y/N did something stupid in game. Y/N couldn't help but feel a fluttering in her stomach when she heard Touko's laugh. It was music to her ears.

"I-I better g-go Y/N," Touko said, getting up.
"No! Don't go! My parents don't come home for a while, let me make you something to eat," Y/N grabbed Touko's sleeve to stop her from leaving. She was enjoying her company too much, it was the most fun she'd had in a long time, she couldn't lose it now.

"O-Okay."
"Yay! Awesome, Touko! I hope you like Super Noodles, because that's all I got," Touko giggled and followed Y/N out of her room, and into the kitchen. She stood around and watched Y/N boil the water and make the noodles. Even something so mundane as lazily making noodles made Touko's heart flutter a bit.

"Right, they're ready!" Y/N set down a bowl of noodles for herself and Touko down on the table. They ate together, causally talking.

Eventually, Touko had to leave, much to the dismay of Y/N. She hoped that there would be more days like this in the future though. Maybe next time, Y/N would gather the courage to at least hold Touko's hand...
