What's Yours Will Find You

Chapter 3

Mark and his friends decided to have lunch together today, but turns out only the engineers can come, well most of them.

"Alai wa, I thought we were all having lunch together. Where are the others?" King complained as he realizes that only 8 of them showed up at the restaurant.

"Gun is not yet done with his surgery." Bar replied, as if defending his boyfriend. Frong explained too, "Thara had just started with the liver transplant surgery an hour ago."

Mark who's still looking at the menu deciding what to eat responds, "Tingting, Tang and Duen had TA patients. Ram's with an architect, they have a meeting on their on-going project."

"Praram and Prarak are still out of town." North reminded, he sighs as he misses the twins, especially Praram.

Yihwa, whose busy telling the waiter their orders chimes in, "James have a meeting with his new client today."

"Boss is in a rush. He needs to finish the blueprint of his new project that is due today." Mek sighs, feeling the pressure Boss must be feeling right now.

"Phu and Tee are visiting a site. How about Bohn?" King asks.

"Bohn says he has to visit someone at the hospital." Vee told them.

Their eye brows furrows, "Who?" Vee scratches his head, "I don't know, maybe one of his flings?"

They all nodded seemingly convinced. They knew Bohn as a playboy who changes partners every now and then; he had the most relationships and experiences and the only one who has an active lifestyle among them.

"When will we ever be complete?" Yihwa sulks, Mark, who's sitting beside the senior, patted her shoulders as he agreed.

Now that they were all working, they're rarely complete whenever they gather, and it's mostly Duen, Tang, Tingting, Gun and Thara's missing since they are now doctors. They can't easily leave the hospital as they might have emergency patients or surgeries, so it's typically the engineers' who gathers.

They all started eating as soon as their food was served. Vee kept looking at them while eating and North notices this.

"Oh Vee, do you have something to tell us?" everyone turned their attention at Vee when they heard North and Vee's confused how can his friend read his mind like that, so North explained. "I mean, you kept looking at us while eating, and you have this uncomfortable look on your face since we came here."

Mark, who already has an idea about what the elder will say, kept on eating, fearing he might lose his appetite when he hears it again from the elder.

"I, uhh, I was planning to propose to Ploy." Everyone weren't fazed by what their friend said, while Mark who already heard it last week stops his actions, hearing his heart breaks yet again in to pieces.

It is already the third time they've heard it from Vee, but it always get cancelled for whatever reason only Vee knows. Whenever his friends asks, he would just reply, 'I feel like this isn't the right time yet', so they were already expecting it to hear from Vee.
