They had stayed like that for a couple of hours; Cassian sat on the bed with Nesta in his arms. Neither f them moved or broke the comforting silence. Their hearts slowly healing just from sitting in each others arms.
And then, Feyre and Rhysand just had to ruin it.
At first they had walked in and stood there and stared at Nesta and Cassian before their brains finally caught up to the fact that Nesta was awake.
And Feyre screamed.
Actually screamed before running to Nesta and hugging her tightly while Rhysand walked off the tell Azriel that his patient was awake. That was the start of the most hectic day of Nesta's life.
But little did she know that it was also the day that broke her heart all over again.
