Whenever Al helped me put on my necklace, a flashback came into my mind.

<Flashback>

I grabbed my bag as I said I was ready. After I closed my door and locked it, Al revealed a small box to me.

"Oh Al you shouldn't have," I said as he handed the box to me.

I unwrapped the ribbon as I carefully opened the box. I felt my eyes light up like diamonds once I saw the beautiful necklace.

"Do you like it dear?"

Once Al asked that, I immediately engulfed him in a comforting hug. He chuckled as he slowly wrapped his arms around me.

"I absolutely love it Al!"

"I'm glad you do," He said while patting my head.

Al helped me put on the necklace before we headed downstairs to his car. I linked my arm with Al's as we walked downstairs together. Al opened the door of his car for you as I giggled.

<End of flashback>

I came back to my senses to see Al lightly shaking me and saying my name.

"You are so similar to him."

"Who?"

"Someone I previously loved...His name was Alastor, just like yours. I remember only a little bit but now I know why you felt so familiar."

Al's eyes widened as he let go of me. He stumbled backwards as I tried to prevent him from falling back. Unfortunately, we both fell over. I looked up as I thought about something I could try. I wanted to remember my past. I wanted to know if Al was the one from my past life. I needed to see his and my past memories.
I looked to see me straddling Al. I blushed noticing this but I had an advantage. I grabbed Al's wrists with one hand and placed them above his head.

"What are you-"

My hand glowed a light blue as I placed my palm on his forehead. His eyes glowed a bright blue as did mine. The world around me seemed to fade into black. I was scared that maybe my attempt didn't work.
Al quickly pinned me to the ground and wrapped his hands around my neck.

"What the hell did you do to me?!"

His demonic form showed as I kneed him in his stomach. He let me go as he looked more pissed off than before. I scooted away from him as a shouted for him to stop.
He looked as he came back to his senses as he stopped. A faint light appeared in the distance. Al looked at me confused but also with anger and worry. I stood up as we walked towards the light.
There was music playing as well as people chatting. A bar. I noticed someone was on stage. I held my breathe as I recognized who it was.
It was me. I then spotted a man in the crowd who felt familiar.
He was tall and tan as he wore glasses.
The memory skipped to where I was talking to the man. I heard my past conversation with the man as I realized it was Al. I listened as I started putting the pieces together.
'Al said to me when he first came to the hotel that he used to live in New Orleans. The one from my past lived in New Orleans too. Can't be a coincidence.' Another memory came but it wasn't mine. I thought to myself that this must be Al's memory. It showed me with him at a radio studio. The memory then shifted to Al and me at a bar. There was two other people. A man taller than Al that looked intimidating as well as a short girl. She was a flapper but a little taller than me. The memories shifted past until I saw the one that was the night of my death.
Al and I watched the memory of that night as he tensed up. It showed how Al reacted to my death and my funeral. However it cut off right after my funeral.

"What?"

"There. You saw my past memories."

"But why did it just cut off-"

"I'm not letting you see my memories from after that. I keep those memories to myself," Al said with his jaw clenched.

He looked down at me and said now it was my turn to show my memories. I couldn't remember much of my past so maybe doing this will unveil memories I didn't remember I even had.
My memories sped through my childhood and slowed down when it was the night at the bar. Al froze as he saw my memory.
The memories went through one another until my death. However, I feel like I missed one big memory. My hands glowed blue as did my eyes as I searched through all my memories trying to see what I missed. I found one way far back as it seemed like it was hidden from me. I was hesitant on seeing it because I feared of why it was hidden.    However, I took a deep breathe and made the memory appear in front of Al and me. The memory was of a night where it was raining.
Screaming and crying was heard from the memory. Men holding back Al from my past life as he was yelling. I saw me on the ground crying as another man was on top of me. I watched the old memory in horror as I felt tears stream down my face.
'I was almost raped that night.'
Al looked uncomfortable seeing my memory but also sad and angry as his fists were clenched.
Another memory flashed as it was me in Heaven. I was confused.

"What is this?"

Angels surrounded me as I saw Michael. I was held down as one angel was holding a needle and a potion.

"Inject the needle in first to wipe out some of her memories. Make sure all of it enters her body and not even one drop it left in that needle. After that, pour the potion down her throat and force her to swallow it. One she is out, take her back to her room and tell her she passed out from exhaustion," I heard Michael say.

The angels nodded as one injected me with the needle. I kept moving around trying to get out the grasp of the two angels that were holding me down.
The angel injected me with the needle struggled as she shouted I needed to stay still. She injected all the liquid inside of my neck as she pulled out the needle. I looked closer as I made the memory slow down. I zoomed in to where the needle was. Right when the angel pulled out the needle, a drop escaped from the needle and onto the floor. I remembered Michael saying to make sure not even let a drop be left in the needle.
"They failed. But they attempted to completely wipe my memories.' I was confused. I mostly felt betrayed.

"Why would they do that? Why would they try to wipe out my memories like that?"

I removed my palm from Al's forehead as I gasped for air. I used too much of my magic. I felt weak and tired as I collapsed.
