Chapter 30: Where the hell are we?

(Y/n's POV)

You wake up in a room on a bed and you turn to your right and see Lee awake and you get up and say.

Y/n: You alright?

Lee: I'm fine. You?

Y/n: Still covering from being knocked out.

Lee: Not to mention that's the second time you got knocked out.

Y/n: Don't remind me anyway where the fuck are we?

Lee: From the looks of it: a school.

Y/n: A place I wish I wasn't at right now.

You try the door but it's locked but then two people come in one of them looks your age and the other is about AJ's age and one of them say.

???: Good to see your both not dead.

Lee: Who are you?

???: I'm Marlon and the is guy right here is Tennessee I r Tenn for short.

Y/n: Ok nice to meet you both and now where the rest of our people?

Marlon: Follow me.

You and Lee follow Marlon downstairs and out to some courtyard with a lot of people and you ask.

Y/n: Where are the adults?

Marlon: They just left us to die when this shit started. What about you?

Y/n: I had my family and friends take care of me and Clem so to say I think we're doing pretty well.

Marlon: I imagine you went through some pretty bad shit.

Y/n: We did had a lot of deaths. Hell I even got beat up with some that I gave the radio to and I lost my eye.

Y/n: But death doesn't get easier it never does in this world and we all have to live thought this fucking thing but I know if you help other people survive it's worth it.

Marlon: Were you guys bitten before.

Y/n: Yeah both of us but we cut off the bite but me the first couple of days while Lee was 3 months later same with my mother but it didn't work so she told me to kill her before she turned.

Then a kid called for Marlon and he said to you both before running off.

Marlon: Your people are with Louis so listen for music ok?

Lee: Thank you.

He nods and runs off while you both try to find where the music is coming from.
