Darcy pushed the door to her apartment open with an exhausted huff, the traffic had been insane, her work was no better and finally her car was a piece of shit! Darcy heaved the 10 bags of groceries she'd picked up into the small corridor then shut the door behind her noting that Loki was nowhere in sight. Darcy was used to him going off now with the Avengers to do heroic type stuff but it always made her worry a little luckily at the moment she had groceries to put away with no time to dwell on Loki's current absence from the apartment. Twenty minutes later Darcy had everything put away was changed and flopped down on the couch ready to order some Chinese food as well as watch some crappy TV however as soon as she clicked the TV on a live news feed caught her instant attention not in a good way either. The blonde reporter girl was yelling into her microphone while the news station played clips from earlier of the recent battle the Avengers including Loki had gotten into that day. Darcy gulped as she looked at the giant monster kraken that towered over the city but what really caught her attention was when they showed the killing blow dealt by Loki who was attacked in the process by a second enemy, a beam of energy that glowed pink in color hit Loki square in the chest sending him soaring into a building across from the Kraken. Darcy gasped as she jumped back into the couch, covering her mouth with her hands suddenly the news reporter was live on the screen running up to Iron man who was carrying Loki in his arms with blood staining his outfit while it drizzled down his face from his mouth and nose.

"No!" Darcy screamed then immediately took off grabbing only her keys, purse and coat before running out the door. Darcy drove like a mad woman towards Stark tower where the Avengers were now based out of when not on missions plus he'd revamped the place to be like a central hub for heroes. Skidding her car to a stop not even sure if she was parked correctly but not really caring either she leapt out and stumbled towards the front doors, fumbling for her ID in her purse to show to Jarvis who let her in after that. The Avengers were already there cause the jet was on the roof so she knew they'd already gotten Loki inside so she went right to the basement where Tony had put in a fully functional infirmary. The panicked brunette ran straight out of the elevator towards the infirmary doors only to be spotted by Captain America who sprinted towards her in hopes of intercepting the young woman before she went inside. Steve managed to grab Darcy long before she got even close to the doors of the infirmary holding her by the waste even as she struggled to get free, kicking and screaming to let her go.

"Darcy...ma'am please...just calm down," Steve pleaded with her

"No! Let me go! I want to see him, I have to see him!" Darcy screamed

Natasha had just rounded the corner to see what all the noise was about when suddenly there was a blast of white light. Natasha closed her eyes then opened them again to see that Steve was now a good 5 feet away in the side of the wall, groaning as he tried to get up from what had just happened to him while Darcy sprinted into the infirmary. Worried about Steve but knowing what was going on in the infirmary Natasha took off after Darcy who had already run full tilt into the operating bay where Loki was being treated by Dr. Banner and several S.H.I.E.L.D agents trained in medical fields. Natasha burst in through the double doors to see Darcy being held by Tony who was still in the iron man suit while Banner scowled at the intrusion, his hands wrist deep in Loki's chest cavity. Natasha thought that Tony had it under control until that is Darcy's hands began to glow faintly with the same light she'd seen before thinking swiftly Natasha grabbed a syringe from the nearest surface to quickly fill with a sedative also located in the same area. Natasha dove forwards plunging the syringe into Darcy's neck causing her to cry out for a moment before the substance began to work making her more docile until finally knocking her out entirely causing her body to go limp in Tony's arms.

"Was that necessary?" Tony asked looking at Natasha questionably

"You didn't see what she did to Steve" Natasha panted out
