What A Man Gotta Do (TomTord)

Chapter One.

"Tom! Can you go get the mop? A customer spilled so coffee."

Tom quickly put down what he was doing and got the mop. Edd thanked him and went off to help the other customers. The woman apologized about the mess, paid, and then went on her way. Tom walked off to the back to look for a caution sign to put in place. As he searched he heard a loud thud and people screaming and yelling. His heart stopped as he raced out of the back trying to see what had happened. He sees Edd and Matt racing to that area as well. A crowd of people was swarming the area, blocking Edd, Matt, and Tom from getting through. Edd yelled for everyone to take their seats or leave. After a short while, everyone had dispersed, letting the three be able to see what they had been going crazy about. There was nothing nor' anyone there. They had looked at each other with confused looks and just decided to get back to work.

Toms shift had ended and he was walking home with Matt, as the two would go similar paths back home. Matt and Tom soon split up telling each,

"Have a safe way home."

As Tom had been getting closer to his house he heard some noise coming from an ally. He stared and tried to listen closely to it. He heard a woman yelling and crying. Tom took out his phone and shined the light down the ally, calling out,

"Who's there! Are you okay!?"

The crying soon became sniffle as a woman with short blue hair walking out, her hair all messy and bags under her tearful eyes.

"Are you okay? What happened?"

"My boyfriend broke up with me," She said wiping the tears from her eyes.

Tom reached into his pockets and pulled out touches and handed it to the woman. She took them and thanked Tom.

"I feel like I've seen you somewhere" Tom mumbled under his breath.

The lady looked back at Tom with a confused expression.

"What did you say, again?"

"Oh, just that you'll be okay and maybe you too were meant for each other, but it's the wrong time, or maybe you'll find your soulmate later on in your life and you two will be happy together."

The lady smiled at what Tom said.

"Thank you, I needed that."

Tom looked at the time on his phone realizing an hour had already gone by.

"I'm sorry, but I really must get going. I hope to see you around."

Tom waved off to the woman as he walked back to his apartment building. He sighed and looked back again, 'Why did he feel like he's seen here before.'

"I've probably just seen her around town before" Tom had said quietly as he walked up the stair to his apartment.

Once Tom got into his apartment he got changed and plopped onto his bed. Tom checked his phone and saw that Matt and Edd had texted him on the Group Chat.

Cola Can: Tom

Cola Can: Thomas

M@: Tim

M@: Timmmmmm answer us

Cola Can: Tom did you die ._.

Alcoholic: Guys Stfu

Cola Can: Nope he's alive

Alcoholic: When will you guys stop spamming me

M@: Tim wut happened, why are you mad

Alcoholic: I ain't mad, just kinda confused

M@: With wut, I can help you!!!

Cola Can: Matt tbh you're probably the last person anyone would ask for help

M@: :(

Cola Can: Ignore him, what happened

Alcoholic: Idk, to summarize it up, I had heard a woman crying in an ally, so I called out to her and helped her. Her boyfriend had broken up with her.

Cola Can: Are you sure she wasn't crazy

Alcoholic:  That ain't the point. She had looked familiar to me

Cola Can: What did she look like then

Alcoholic: She had blue hair, short hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and was wearing something purple.

M@: She copied me!!!

Alcoholic: Yeah we're gonna replace you with her :)

M@: :( Plz say you're not going to replace me

Alcoholic: We can't it'd be difficult to find another narcissistic human being like you

M@: I will take that as a no

Cola Can: Did you seriously use big words to confuse Matt

Alcoholic: Shut up, he'll know

M@: Tim are you drunk?

Alcoholic: I wish, the bar is closed on Sundays

Alcoholic: It's late we should go to sleep

Cola Can: Shut up you buzzkill

Alcoholic: Welp good night anyways

M@: Gn Tin and Edd!!!

Cola Can: Good night, oh btw Tom we can search that lady up tomorrow

Tom sighed as he stared at the home screen to his phone. 'Why did he feel like he's seen that woman so many times!' He heard a notification pop up and checked it. It was a post from his favorite actor, model, etc. He checked what the message was on Twitter. Tom was shocked at he saw it, it was Tord with his ex-girlfriend, Laurel. The lady Tom had seen was Laurel, Tords ex. Tom tried texting and calling Edd, but it seemed as if he was already asleep. So he turned and quietly screamed into his pillow until he went into a deep sleep.
