As you headed towards the back room, you felt Elsa slip her hand into yours. She softly squeezed your hand and for a moment you forgot about everything going on in the world. So what the house had no power and now Elsa's estranged ex is here? At least you knew that Elsa was with you now.

You found the electric box and opened it up to flip the switches back. However, the switches were not flipped which meant that a power line must have been done. You let out a sigh and felt Elsa wrap her hands around your waist.

"The lights won't be out forever," she whispered as she turned your face towards hers, "but I'm getting the feeling that it's not just the power that's bothering you."

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm being so weird right now. I promise I'm not like a control freak, but I don't know. Maybe it's because for once I have something that I don't want to lose," you replied.

You slid your back against the wall and sat down. Your hands found their way to the carpet as you dig your nails into the floor. Elsa found her place next to you and rested her head into your shoulder. "I still can't believe you want to date me after I busted open your head."

"Okay, drama queen, your hit only left a small mark on my forehead," you chuckled.

You reached out for her hand and let yourself close your eyes for a second. You didn't realize how tired you were, and soon you were fast asleep on the ground. Elsa tried her best to lift you up, but instead grabbed a blanket and pillow from the room. She kissed your forehead and left you alone to sleep your worries away.

As Elsa heads upstairs she couldn't help but smile at the thought of your curled up on the floor with your mouth slightly open and a small puddle of drool forming on the ground. She laughed quietly to herself as she reached the top of the stairs, but stopped instantly when she saw Tadashi standing by the bathroom door waiting for her.

"Elsa..."he began to speak but stopped as he noticed Elsa holding up her hand.

"Tadashi. Why don't we go speak privately somewhere else," Elsa replied as she motioned to the other girls are staring intensely at the two.

Tadashi modded his head and followed her into the front room and shut the door. Elsa found her way to the large, maroon recliner as Tadashi sat on the couch near the window. He opened the blinds and watched as the rain came pouring down.

"Do you still love thunderstorms?" He asked as he continue to stare out the window.

Elsa hesitated for a moment. She was caught off guard with his question. "Yes. I still love them. They remind me of—"

"Of your parents. I know." He said as he shifted his position to look at Elsa. "You told me that on our fourth date and I still remember it to this day."

"Well, that's very sweet of you. But I would hope you would remember it since I told it to you only a few years ago," Elsa said.

She crossed her legs and placed her hands on her lap. She began to chew on the inside of her cheek and stared at the ground. She could feel Tadashi's eyes stare at her from the couch, but she could not find the strength to meet his gaze.

"Elsa, I am sorry to just show up like this. But I didn't know any other way to tell you this. There's no perfect time for anything nowadays." He stood up and knelt before Elsa. "I still love you because I never stopped loving you. We can finally have that happy ever after like you always wanted."

Elsa felt his hand touch hers and quickly pulled away. She stood up and walked over to the door and turned back to look at Tadashi.

"I'm happy now. I have someone new in my life who I want to give a fair chance to. You cannot just expect me to leave her for you."

Tadashi suddenly stood up and walked over to Elsa. He stared down into her eyes and grabbed her hands.

"We have history, Elsa."

Elsa let go of his hands and smiled at him. "Maybe so, but I have a future with her." She sat back down in the chair and motioned for Tadashi to sit down, but instead, he raised his hand and slammed it onto the desk. Elsa jumped in her seat, but she did not fear him.

"I—I should go." He said as he opened the door. Elsa stood up to follow him, maybe to make a final goodbye, but she sat back down as she heard the front door open and shut. A few minutes later, Anna slowly walked in and sat on the floor by Elsa.

"Are you okay, sis?" Anna asked. Elsa only nodded as she turned to watch as an old 1994 Mustang pull out of the driveway and drive away. "Where's (Y/N)?

"She's asleep," Elsa answered as she stood up to go check on you. When she came down the stairs, she discovered that you were no longer there. She checked your room, but you were not there. She headed upstairs to find you in the living room with the rest of the girls telling a story about the time your friend and you ditched class to go meet Miranda Cosgrove at the mall.

She laughed as she found her place next to you and rested her head on your shoulder. She was asleep in seconds. You carried her down to her bed and tucked her in. As you kissed the top of the forehead, Elsa stirred and quietly whispered, "Pancakes."

You chuckled softly as you kissed her once more. "Whatever past I had only led me to a future with you," you thought as your turned off the lights and headed back upstairs to wait out the storm.
