Sokka x reader

Sokka is clumsy

There we were, stopping by a village with a huge waterfall tiger some clean water.
Katara practiced waterbending, aang hung out and learned some water bending from her, and me and sokka were goofing around in the water.

Third person POV:

Sokka decided to sneak up on y/n to scare her, but tripped on a rock, making him yelp and y/n to turn around, just as she turned around to make sure he was okay, sokka fell forward on y/n, their faces inches away. For a moment time stopped and they both just looked into each other's eyes until they both realized what just happened.

Sokka turned beet red and covered his face as he got up "ack! Sorry y/n! I was trying to sneak attack and-" y/n laughed "don't worry about it, at least you didn't yell sneak attack this time" she said, smiling. Sokka looked relived at her words and nodded, splashing her and laughing.

Y/n's POV:
I- I was so surprised I didn't turn red. It was so embarrassing! ..but he is kinda cute- NO ew! I can't possibly fall for him. No way. Nuh uh. Katara was my best friend and that would he awkward. Besides, I didn't actually have feelings. ..Right?

Me and sokka continued to splash eachother, laughing and having fun until katara came over. "Sorry to ruin your fun but we should get going" she said, motioning to Appa, with aang ontop and waving.

We got up on Appa and flew into the air. Katara turned to me and sokka "so what did you guys do behind the waterfall?" Me and sokka glanced at eachother nervously. "Wait. Don't tell me you guys kissed!" Katara said, me and sokka turned red (flustered buddies 🥰) and katara started laughing "relax you two! I was joking- wait you guys didn't actually kiss, right?" She asked nervously.

"No! Don't be silly, we just splashed eachother that's all" I said, sokka scratched the back of his neck "mhm. All we did" he said nervously.
