Watching Nightwing race out the door she falls back into the bed defeated, there goes her way out of here but with him gone she slowly sank back into her pillow. She could still taste the chocolate cake in her mouth making her stomach twist and churn.
But she couldn't stop thinking about the memory. It didn't make any sense, it left her with more questions than answers. She stared up at the ceiling. Where does she come from? Why does she have that voice in her head? Who even is she? Who or what killed her family?
Blanca's eyelids began to feel heavy she could barely hold them open. Her limbs didn't hurt as much as they did earlier. She actually felt lighter and her vision was getting blurry. Yawning her eyes watered, laying on her side she slumps into her pillow feeling exhausted now and drifting off to sleep.
Blanca was startled out of her slumber by a loud crash. She shot up in bed her heart racing, at the foot of her bed she could see someone kneeling down picking up whatever they knocked over. "Um excuse me," she says. Startled the alien jumped to their feet, he looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"Ghost Streak.... p-please don't hurt me." He begged slowly stepping back.
Ghost Streak? Blanca was confused, "what? I'm not gonna-" but before she could even finish her statement he was already out the door nearly knocking over a doctor. "Hold on!" She shouts after him.
She wiggles in her restraints too no avail. She watched as nurses and doctors walked past her door, "u-um excuse me—can I have a little...," realizing that none of them were even listening she huffed. She has to find that alien again. He knows something about her or her past and just about anything right now would be useful information.
...Use it...
There it was again that voice in her head that wasn't her own. She knew excatly what the voice was talking about. They wanted her to use magic. But even the thought of using magic agian made her head hurt. Last time was disastrous, what if the spell backfires or worse.
Cursing under her breath she knew she didn't have time to waste, that alien was getting away. Taking a deep breath she focus all of her attention to the restraints on her ankles and wrists. Without thinking the spell slips out her mouth; "Silis." At first nothing happened. She took another breath this time trusting the voice and rested the spell again this time more confidently, "silis."
Gasping, before her eyes the tight fabric that tied her to the bed was being untied. Once her hands were free she quickly began working on her ankles, once she was free she took off down the hallway looking for the alien.
