Nightwing walks over to the door shutting it before pulling up a chair besides her bed, "what was it?"

She takes a deep sigh trying to remember every detail, "I was holding a baby...I don't remember who's it was or why, but there was this women...she was beautiful. She was holding a cake with candles on top of it. We were a family, we all looked so happy but in a flash everything changed. She was screaming my name over and over crying out in pain." Her voice trailed off as she sat down her fork.

Nightwing took the plate off the tray giving her a reassuring smile. "We'll find out what that means sure enough alright? Just give it time."

Blanca half smiled. She was doubtful, and frankly Nightwing was too, this girl is a complete mystery. He could still she was still troubled from what just happened he wanted to try to make her feel better.

Before sliding back the chair to its rightful place in front of the window just as he was doing so he presses his finger tips to his ear. "I have to get going." He says making quick strides to the door.

"Wait wait," Blanca calls out after him while sitting up in the bed. "Where are you going I thought you were in charge of looking after me."

"Sorry space girl I have some business to attend too." He says before stepping out the door.

"Space girl? What about my restraints? Hold on what if I have to go to the bathroom?" She calls out raising her voice slightly.

Poking his head briefly through the door frame he points to the right side of her bed. "Theres a remote by your bed side use it to call on of the nurses to help you out. Now I gotta go." He says before leaving the room faster than Blanca could even process what just happened.

On an rooftop in Gotham city Nightwing stood observing the city with binoculars. The sun had set hours ago bring with it a cold dark night where the pale white moon hung high in the sky.

"Why does you face look like that?" Damian asked cracking his knuckles.

"Look like what?" Nightwing asks whipping his face.

"Like an idiot." The younger Robin laughed. He was no older than thirteen.

The older hero rolled his eyes in annoyance, "shut up demon spawn."

From behind them another pair of heavy footsteps approached them. "I heard what happened yesterday at the harbor. How are they?" He asked in low rustic voice.

Nightwing shrugged rubbing the back of his neck, "she's okay I guess. She's scared and she's doesn't remember a lot. I'm not really sure what to do with her."

Damian spoke up, "so that's what's wrong with your face."

Nightwing huffed slightly lundging leaning forward on the ledge of the rooftop.

"Can you handle the last few hours? Robin has a project due and I have a rocket to catch." Batman says.

"Inter galactic stuff?"

"I'm heading out to help a cluster of planets fight in this war that's been going on for 150 years." He explains while pressing some buttons on a device on his wrist. "The Supreme Leader of the war has been missing for 5 years now but the war still rages on."

"Go on, I got it from here." Nightwing waved them away before placing his palm under his chin. Batman gives him a slight nod before the father and son duo leapt off the side of the building leaving him alone.

The first hour nothing out of the ordinary happened, a bartender throwing out couple of drunks onto the street while he called them a taxi to get home. He leaped from rooftop to rooftop keeping the peace stopping petty pick pocketers in their tracks.

Throughout the night he couldn't distract himself long enough to keep his mind of off Blanca. He felt bad for her, he could only imagine what she's going through and wanted to do everything in his power to help her regain her memories back.

Before long the sun had risen up again warming Nightwing up for only a short time before a cold gust of wind blew right through him.

Stretching his muscles yawning walking down the block to the only breakfast open at dusk. While ordering bins usual he wasn't sure what she would like and he really didn't want to put her through the pain of reliving old memories she wanted to keep hidden.

With literally one of everything on the menu he was finally ready to head back, he admits he did go a little overboard but it's better to be safe than sorry; but just as he just about to walk out the door with two bags on one arm and the other bag on his wrist he gets a call from his earpiece. He struggles slightly before finally answering the call, "Nightwing,"

"She's gone." The voice on the other line responds.

"Who?"

"The patient from the harbor, she called for one of the nurses but when he got there she was gone." He let's put a forced sigh rubbing his temples with his gloved finger tips.

"I'll be right there."
